Thanks for the link Shawn! I was honestly having a real hard time telling what was different about the DC. I'm pleased to find out that it wasn't just some side boob. |

Yes, please let us know if it's any good. I'm looking forward to this movie quite a bit. I just hope it's not some hidden political message. That will be a big turn off for me. |

I hadn't even thought it could have a political message behind it, until this morning when someone said the same thing on the radio. The talk show I was listening to was going to interview James cameron and the hosts said they might ask him about it. Unfortunately, it was a few minutes after I got to work. |

I hope it doesnt!
To be honest from the clips i have seen part of it looks like an Xbox 360 game to me. You cant beat the models used in the OT!
Getting ready now to go see it so ill let you know what i think without given away spoliers.

| Well we got to the cinema and was surprised to be told the press release will be shown in 3D which made all the difference for me.
If im honest guys i still don't know what to think of it ?
Pandora the world is off the charts crazy and the film is nearly 3 hours long.
What was interesting is my GF who HATES Sci Fi with a vengeance and cant sit still through a 2 hour film loved it! and so did my Sister who is 22 years old.
I definitely recommend seeing the film on the big screen in 3D when i got home i watched the sky film report that showed clips from the film and its no where near as impressive on a small screen in 2D.

We are planning on checking it out in 3D on Sunday evening. I'm really looking forward to it!
Without spoiling anything did you notice any sort of political/social message Jay? |

Hard to say really Chris
The main message is about looking after nature and conservation but Cameron will admit that himself.
On refelection i think it was a prety good movie and would see it again |

| Just watched Edwards Scissorhands for the first time in years and for me its one of Tim Burtons best. The soundtrack by Danny Elfman is outstanding and probably his greatest score imo

| I finally saw Avatar today and thought it was excellent. I'm glad we splurged and saw it on the Imax screen and 3D. It does have an environmental type message, but I don't think it was overwhelming enough to ruin the movie or anything like that. | jaymassive619 wrote: | Just watched Edwards Scissorhands for the first time in years and for me its one of Tim Burtons best. I agree Jay. I really liked that movie too. I'm a soundtrack nut and have several Elfman scores and this is one of my favorite.
I quite enjoyed the Avatar score while watching the movie and am going to pick it up too. |

| Checked out Avatar last night.
One word... WOW! It was well worth the price for the 3D! I would highly recommend anyone to see it in 3D.
The story is a bit on the predictable side, but the visuals are top notch! I am very curious to see how it's going to translate to the home screen. |
