Holy Shit!!

That is an amazing display mate! I don't care that it's modern, it looks the nuts.

Is that a Rubies Vader helmet?
Where did you score the Ewok?

What's that Blue Vader statue in the 7th picture down?

I love the 12" speeder bikes, probably my favourite modern toy's. I'm still after scoring a Biker scout one.

Really love your limelight mate, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

To answer your questions, no, that's just a cheesy Don Post helmet I've had for years. It's basically a glorified Halloween costume. But it looks pretty good. The Ewok came from a maker in Argentina. If I remember right, I think it was called Customsprops. I wasn't too happy when I got it. They had cut al ot of corners IMO. So I completely re-made the hood, spear, necklace, and repainted the skull cap. The blue Vader is just one of those vinyl banks they came out with. The blue one is the "holographic" version that was a SDCC exclusive. I like the unmasked version the best.

Hell yes, speeder bikes rock. I just recently got the big Sideshow Premium Format one in the pic. I love it. It's way radder in person. Heavy as hell too. It's like 3 feet long. The Sideshow box at my front door looked like a freakin coffin. I highly recommend it to any Speeder collectors. And I know there are a few on here.

Thanks again for all the compliments!

Great collection Tad!

I also like the modern SW stuff and I'm not ashamed to admit it regardless of the abuse I may receive. Sad And speaking of unpopular opinions, I also think that Ewok is totally bad-ass. You did a great job redoing it to make it look like the stormtrooper killing machine we see in the movie!

Great collection all around! Keep up the good work.

I did some re-organizing, and took some better pics, so I figured I would post them up here. I don't want to edit the first post, I'd rather keep it going with a new post, so I can see how it's changed since I first posted. Again, There's a lot of modern here, but it feels weird to leave it out. I think it gives context to my whole collection. So here's my update!

Here's the entrance to my collection room.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Tad: I was just thinking about your Vader Focus thread and how cool you display room is as I clicked this thread.

This is totally off the planet you have even more starwars rooms! Are you really Steve Sansweet? I love the fact you have a collection house rather than a room and Love the variety - can takes me back to the 90s when I would collect just anything with Star Wars on it both vintage and modern. I would to have the space to do something as wonderful as that. It is truly fantastic!

I see you are working on a new Luke Jedi Focus? Any help you need in this area - just give a mail!

Well done mate. Fantastic.

Re This Thread:

I missed your original post so sorry for not commenting before - I vote we sticky this as I think everyone should have a chance to see this! There are many like me who can't alway be on TIG everyday and it would be a shame for this thread to be missed.

Definately a contender winner for best collection room of the year.

Wow, thanks guys!

Craig, this is actually all one room. It had a walk in close that I tore all of the closet rods and shelves out of to make more space. And the Darthenon is actually just a strange little side room that's connected to this room. Like another huge closet. It had just a big countertop when we moved in, so I removed that and put in shelving units.

It was actually one of the deciding factors of the house when we decided to buy it. As soon as I walked into it and saw the wall of built in shelves, the wheels started turning as to how I could completely make it my Star Wars room.

I actually just moved all of my statues and busts into our home office, which freed up a little space for me in this room. I better get to work on filling it up!

Thanks again guys for all the comments Very Happy

Speechless.....

"That's no moon," Kenobi breathed softly. "That's Tad's collection."

"But it's too big to be a collection," Solo objected. "The size of it! It can't be artificial -- it can't!"
