Hey blokes. Just a random amusing ebay experience i recently had...

In an effort to keep some sort of fitness in the footy off-season, i decided to start riding my pushbike into work a few times a week. It became obvious early on that it was not entirely suitable to cycle 25km to work carrying all my gear in plastic bags hanging off the handlebars, so i decided to buy a small backpack with protection for my laptop.
I settled on 1 of 2 backpacks, both over $200. I searched ebay, found 1 of each in & set a snipe for both.

A week later i was happy enough to win & receive a backpack in unused condition just under my $100 limit.....

....2 weeks later i was a little surprised to win a second backpack! I'd forgotten to cancel the snipe. Doh!

When i actually checked the email, i was much happier to find that i was in fact the only bidder, & the seller had started the listing at 99 cents!

A week or so later the 99 cent backpack arrived. I've just checked it over (it is in great condition), and i've just discovered a cool free gift! The guy has included a valid passport for me to sell on the black market! Win win for me!!

"The guy has included a valid passport for me to sell on the black market! Win win for me!!" classic. Now hold it for ransom / sell it back to him for $100.99 = 2 free back packs tongue ps. riding 25km is madness

Love the story. Laughing Bet the thief thought he could have gotten a little more out of that backpack! Or was it the sellers passport?

That's funny Tim!

I'm curious what you are going to do with the passport and who it actually belongs to! Very Happy

I'm pretty sure the passport belongs to the seller.
I've contacted him & i'll post it back soon.
I've only opened a few extra bank accounts & kept the loans to a bare minimum.
