PostSubject: ESB Mail away Survival Kit    Sun Jan 02, 2011 11:11 am

Hi guys
I have had this Survival kit for some months now , but the other day it hit me that it don't have the Yoda bag in it . So i startet to look at this on the net. And here is the quetion.

Are there only one type of survival kit known to exist ?

Mine was brougt in a well renomed shop , that is used to sell vintage stuff. I brougt just the baggie. No box etc.
In my heat sealed baggie with Kenner made in Hong Kong logo on it there are this :

4 Hoth backpacks

2 Luke Skywalker AT-AT grappling hook belt

1 AT-At driver gun ( I have 3 vintage from CH colletion ) This one look just like them , but is rubber like and very bendable like no vintage SW weapon i have ever seen.

1 Rebel Commander Hoth gun ( I have 2 vintage from CH colletion ) This one look like them , but there is an hole right under the front of the sight , where i nerows in . And the tre rings on the barol is much bigger than on the vintage guns.
It is rubber like and very bendable like the AT-AT Driver gun

1 Snow troper gun

1 IG 88 gun ( the Long one )

And that is it. The bag and most of the content looks real and not tamperet with . I have the Hoth bags, guns and belt loose from my child hood to compare it with. But there is the thing about the two rubber guns And the missing + xtra stuff.

In the discription there shuld be this in the baggie:
1 Luke Skywalker AT-AT grappling hook belt
1 Jedi training harness
2 Hoth backpacks
3 asteroid gas masks
1 AT-At driver gun
1 Snow troper gun
1 Strom troper / IG 88 gun ( the short one )
1 Rebel Commander gun
1 Han / Lando etc. Bespin gun.

I hvade looked at Shawn K's miler guide . And the SWCA .
http://theswca.com/images-speci/mailaways/survival.html
And other sites etc. They don't mention the one i have.

Any one who can help me out with this pussel ?
Thanks
Soren

The snowtrooper riffles as you discribe are the tri logo variants, the one in the bag are kenner releases.

those rifles are funky looking, I'm guessing they were never produced.
