Couldn't resist any longer lol! and a nice little diversion from SW collecting -

My first two vintage MOTU figures, Mossman and Roboto both complete. Mossman still has most of his flocked hair and Roboto's cogs turn round inside his chest -
Roboto is really cool and I learnt that he was actually a winning design from a public prize competition held by He-Man magazine in early 80s. Cool

I know there are at least two other members of the boards who are considering getting some vintage motu - you know who you are Wink

Roboto and Mossman:

these two items I already owned - vintage French 45 T record, and USA storybook:

anyone else? Get your motu out Smile

Nice pick ups guys. I love those ads, Kaze. As for stepping up, give me a few more days for some items to arrive and I'll show mine. Very Happy I got a couple storybooks on the way to start me off, like I really need another area to collect. But I do have one of the modern MOTU figures I picked up at a flea market stored away.

I don't have a whole lot of my MOTU stuff left. Castle Greyskull, Battlecat, He-MAn, Skeletor, Beastman, a puzzle, a boardgame and these beauties pictured below.

They are store display signs from early in the line I've been told. A friend of mines dad was a manager at Woolco and got these for me sometime in the 80s. I've batted the idea of selling them around but can't seem to do it. I love them. They hung over my bed for years when I was a kid.

Thats what I call sweet!!! I checked it out and it is from '83 and had a yellow cardboard frame around it. The only pix I could find was for the main battle part. The other two wasn't in with it.

Just got a ton of figures and vehicles in today, which I'll get some shots up later. But there was one thing that was brought to my attention by Josh_T while we were looking at them. I never thought about checking COO's on them until Josh found one with Mexico on it. I was wondering if there was some that was released here with the COO or was just on the Mexico releases. And just when I thought I was getting away from COO variations, we had to find these. One in particular is Beast Man. One has a large MEXICO in the middle below the date and the other is smaller and to the left more. I know they were released in Mexico from the big find Shane on RS found, but if theres any other collector here who knows more about it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Most of the others either had Taiwan or Malaysa on them.

Nice He-MAn MOC stargeezer. The lure of collecting MOTU has hug over me for a few years. But I still haven't jumped in. Must resist. Must resist. Must resist.

Thanks.

You know the biggest problem with MOTU is that there is no really active forum (at least not like the SW forums i know).
