| I was going through some of my extra loose figs and found some more questionable weapons. I know one is definitely repro as it fails all tests... Bottom is Nikto staff repro: Now these I'm wondering about. Lando Skiff staff. They both pass the float test and they sound similar in the drop test. I'm pretty sure the top one is good but not sure about the bottom one. I've got the same bottom one for my Weequay and the same top one for my Klaatu skirt. Are these just variants or is the bottom repro? |

| Cool, thanks. The details seem a little different (circles, sizes). I guess these are just variants? |

| Hi Bro Check them against this page - http://www.imperialgunnery.com/thestaffsaxessection.htm Regarding the Nikto Staff the bottom one in your picture looks like the V1 Painted Repro as it lacks most of the detail points. If it sinks in water then its also painted if you get a coin you will be able to scratch the paint off. Skiff Guard Battle Staff REPRO V1Painted REPRO, Mass Produced Just info there is also a much better quality Repro which i have pictured below - Skiff Guard Battle Staff REPRO V2Cast in Grey Plastic (Not Painted) The Lando Skiff Staffs looks ok to me. | Nice info. Thanks for the help. I actually scratched the plastic (you can see the score mark if you look carefully) and it actually just scraped off more plastic. So it's definitely not painted. After I knew it was a repro I scratched the hell of it with a knife just to see if it is all plastic and it sure enough it is. So I guess they made a V1 in cast plastic? Either way, the thing is in the garbage now. |

| Yeah, I've still got it. It was in a pile of junk mail I threw in the trash (don't worry - it's clean). It's definitely cast plastic and sinks like a rock. I'd be happy to send it to you.
