Hi guys. I decided to post a few pics from a couple of concerts my wife and I have attended in the last couple of years. The reaction to them in chat last night was really good so I figured I'd share some of Saris pictures.

Like I said in chat, those are some killer shots. I wish I thought about taking a camera when I went to the Metallica show years ago. I was right next to the stage by the mosh pit.

Nice share Paul, tell sari she took some great shots. Look at the size of them platform boots lol. Great shot of Gene fire breathing Wished I'd have taken a camera along to some of those Metallica shows as Chris was saying - but it seems not many people bothered taking cameras back then.

I remember these guys when they first came out ... they were good but ... their music always sounded the same ... hope that changed over the years

I went to the Blackest Tour where they allowed you to film the show. I was to excited to worry about a camera at the time. Now when Crue came around on the Dr. Feelgood show, you weren't allowed to have a camera in the show period. I seen the security escort several out because they snuck cameras in.

I've been to countless shows, seen countless bands, taken countless photos and read countless music magazines and interviews and I must say -those are some of the best pictures I have ever seen - professional or fan taken !


Is your wife a professional photographer or just lucked out on some awesome camera? I want one if so! Great pictures - really they deserve to be framed!

Joe O my wife was a reporter for our local paper for a few years and took photography in collage. Also she uses a really nice camera. Olympus Evolt E-300. It's an older model by todays standards but takes awesome pics.

The pic of the spider is superb you can see the hairs on the legs and even the little threads of silk But the butterfly is stunning - should be included in a BBC nature magazine or something. Brilliant. Agree with Joe some of these deserve frames
Re: cameras - when I went to see FooFighters a few years ago you could take camera but security had a restriction on the size of the lens you could take in, my mate had a really expensive camera and his lens just made the limit to go through. I think this had something to do with official press taking pictures and not infringing on their sales of photos to magazines etc.

Simply stunning. Those are some out of this world shots. I have to ask, the guy spitting fire, member of Rammstein?

Those photos rock... some truly amazing talent!

I love the how she has captured the seabird in flight over the sea and the close-up of spidey and the beautiful butterfly are awesome.

I agree with paul, you should enter them into a nature photography competition.

Really thanks for the comments guys. Sari is really touched. She's one of these people who dosn't feel she's really that good. SO this helps her feel good about her talent.

Paul- The rules on cameras haev loosened a bit now becasue of cell phones. The rules usually state now "No professional cameras." So Sari takes the big lens off her camera and it just look like a little point and shoot with a big lens cover. She shoves the big lens down between her boobs to hide it . Another thing they come in handy for hehe.

Chris J- The guy spitting fire was just some dude in a crappy local circus troop coming through town. It's one of my favorite shots shes done.

Craig T- That shot of the bird flying across the water was taken off a local ferry I belive. It make me so relaxed to sit and look at it. And it does look awesome framed.
