are they like laser pointers but in a gun?? or do they fire pellets??

I think theyre the type where you put body armour on and these disable the persons weapon working when hit by a beam of light from them, used in laser tag games indoors (i think).

They should be rechargeable and usually come with the body armour that has "hit points"

youre almost right, the guns themselves are the targets. when you are hit by another player, the red led on your gun goes up and you lose one of your ten lives. if youre hit with a super strike (each player has one) your gun automatically dewducts you 10 lives and you are out. The guns shoot up to 250 ft and do not fire actual projectiles but undetectable laser beams which trigger the enemies led hit system. These guns are all you need to play the game. no other equipment is needed

Nope . Thougt it was some vintage prop thing or some thing like that.
