This sad story has a happy end after all.

Thanks to Mark (DarthStanley) who offered me a different Trilogo Ewok Village after reading this thread and deciding to shift his focus somewhat.

It arrived today in a very carefully packed, almost bombshell proof package.

No need to tell you guys, I am totally over the moon about it.
