| I know these guys have some play wear. I bought them from a classified add. Curious what you think? I bought the figures (19 in all) just for the Mecc Fett, but then I started looking at the others once they were delivered. I did some research today and was hoping anyone with knowledge of these guys could give me their thoughts.... I read the Tie Fighter Pilot (PBP) is some what rare along with the Biker Scout "MACAO".... Boba Fett (Meccano, no Coo) Tie Fighter Pilot (#5 on COO guide/PBP, strange scars, see photo) Biker Scout (#3 on COO guide, "MACAO"/Meccano) Admiral Ackbar (#4 on COO guide, has scar, no COO) Not sure about this figure, would like to learn more..... Luke Hoth (#5 on COO guide, no COO) Thanks, -Steve [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| The emblems of the TIE-Pilot doesn´t look large so I guess it´s the PBP with AT-AT Driver emblems. Am I´m right?

| Might it be a Ledy TIE Fighter Pilot? The COO looks Ledy to me (COO #6C). TIE Fighter Pilot: Kenner (left), PBP (middle), Lili Ledy (right)[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]TIE Fighter Pilot: Kenner (left), PBP (middle), Lili Ledy (right)[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Steve: Does he have 'thick' emblems on the helmet? BTW: Nice backdrop for a Bespin diorama!!

| pm sent!!
Besides the Luke Hoth these are all french figures IMO!
Tie, Boba and Ackbar are french only released figures! French Tie pilot has same emblms then PBP but more to the middle printed! Overall all three: Mec, PBP and LL have the SAME coo!! |

Meaning the COO #6A, 6B, 6C can also be found on PBP Pilots? |

| I guess that makes more sense the Tie Pilot was from Meccano since the majority in the lot are from there also. Does that make the Tie Fighter Pilot less rare then, because it may not be a PBP and may be a Meccano now? Or not really a difference. By the way his emblems are the standard PBP on the helmet, but are closer to the front of the helmet, not centered like the middle helmet emblem in the photo above. Thanks for all the input, Steve |

I agree with Mirco...more pics would be good, but on the other hand: they look large, coo matches and they look more centered to the middle of the helmet! I would be really surprized if this is not a MEC Tie!
PBP is rarer, especially with emblems still on IMO. I think Mirco can second that! We both searched a bit longer for our PBPs with emblems still on compared to the MEC. Or?? |

Thats like finding all Lando bespin scars on both, violett and blue trousers! Im pretty sure the coo is never unique to one of these but prooving this would mean finding 100s of each!! |

| More photos of the Tie Fighter's helmet. Maybe this will help..... Also, Wolff, the Ackbar's Coo scar is rough to the touch. It is visible with a magnifying glass. It is not a carved out coo, but it certainly is not smooth either. It is rough to the touch.... -Steve [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I learned something new today, about the Meccano TFP. Were the TFP steel moulds with the scarred out COOs used by PBP to produce their own figures in Spain? If so, a scarred out COO which is shared by PBP and Ledy TFP figures, would indicate the same steel mould was used by both companies. Meaning; - The companies used the same mould in sequential order, or - One company produced TFP figures for the other Thanks for posting those pics. They don't seem to be Ledy emblems. Nice catch!! |
