I know that kenner wants to sell a gazillion more star wars toys but what about trying to leave the cardback photo clean from any promos for a little bit? It seems that every card that comes out has some sort of offer on it and while it does give it a vintage flair and look it detract from the original idea which is to show who is they toy.

Boba Fett offers by the gazillion and now the phantom menace wave as a life size statue promo on it. Now you really don't wanna ruin or alter the card so you leave the sticker there which i am sure will bring in big bucks down a decade or so from now and some people will take them off but man id like to see clean cards once in a while. It is cool now that they use the UPC code to price the toys and we dont have any nasty price stickers anymore but promos are almost as worse to some extent.

well my rant for now.

cheers!

Hasbro designed the special offer stickers in such a way, that they can be easily removed.

yes i have read about the fact that the sticker are apparently easy to remove and they know that fans would want to peel those off but then again would the card be considered mint in the future if the sticker was removed? No matter what there will be glue residue where the sticker used to be and that might show up in an ugly way down the road.

also there are probably 2 camps on this. Those who will want to keep everything intact and not alter anything and those who will remove the stickers to reveal the pic under and take advantage of the promos.

if the scheme by kenner is to have a promo sticker why not put it in the back? it would make more sense to have it there instead of covering 10% of the front picture that way you can still leave it there and not worry about the front begin obstructed by anything for those who want to leave the card intact.

I know this is really nitpicking but it would be nice if kenner would change would change that way of doing things on their cards.

thanks
