Yep, that's a Lili Ledy. On the back of the card you should see "Made in Mexico" as well.

I'm still in the process of cataloging and photographing my other vintage Vader stuff, but I thought I'd throw this up here real quick. While looking at my loose Lili Ledy Vader, I noticed the saber had an "N" on it.

I was always under the impression that the lettered hilts were only produced during the absolute earliest manufacturing of SW action figures.

So I don't quite know what to make of this. Didn't Lili Ledy come into the Star Wars manufacturing much later?

As a side note, what a pain in the ass it is to take pictures of lettered sabers! I must be doing something wrong. I think I took a kajillion different pictures of different lettered sabers I have, and this is the only freaking one that turned out ok. PM me any tips if you have them!

Four Clipper mailers and a Made In Mexico 65B

I have in the past owned six of these mailers but only these four at once Wink
Only one of the mailer boxes I had contained a plain baggied Vader, the others had the “Made In Macau” black text bags

The no text baggie contained the so called "Clipper Vader" - scarred coo, ‘rectangular’ feet & thick cape. There are a few slightly different scarred Vaders about (different mould cavities / slight changes to the mould). They are fairly prevalent throughout Europe and probably appeared on a few different cardbacks as well as in Clipper mailers.

Another 2 with the “Made In Macau” text baggies contained a Darth with a raised ‘ridge’ over the Hong Kong. A further similar mailer contained a Vader with a slightly different raised ridge, both coos pictured here:

The other two Macau baggies contained the raised bar no coo figures (coos 13 & 14), which at the time I was quite surprised about as these raised bar figures were (are!) often referred to (incorrectly...) as China variants.

I have never seen a China baggied Darth, nor a carded figure with the Made In China text, anybody got one…

clipper no text baggie - Rog - that bit of info was invaluable thank you so much for posting it re the Made in Macau baggied clipper mailers, fingers crossed the other one I have sealed is the made in Macau, I think there are also mailers without baggies - just a loose figure in them, do you know if that is correct?.

Sealed Clipper mailer

Sorry no way of me checking the COO's on these without the possibility of damaging the baggies

Sorry about posting the case. I wasn't sure so I threw it in there. If you want, I can take it off so as not to add confusion to the thread. :?:

Also, here's a couple more additions to the thread.

Heres's my Minty PBP Vader. It's a much better card, and you can see the figure better.

And here's a few variations I thought worth mentioning. RetroRewindToys' run of COOs is freaking amazing, so I figured there was no need to re-post them! Awesome job, man!!

Here's one with COO #6, that has white spray apps for all of the chest box buttons, then is resprayed with red where necessary.
Also, it's worth pointing out that some Vaders have a small dot for the belt buckle (like this one) and some have a much larger dot.

Also, Vaders can be found with and without a "mold hole" on the back of the helmet. Like this:

As far as COO's go, I am curious about COO #19 on RetroRewinds post. I have a few of these as well, but I couldn't find any info. Wolff's guide only goes to 18, so is there another place to look? I'm glad he posted it though, because it seems to be common enough to be considered a legitimate COO variation.

Also, I have this one. Which I believe is closest to COO #3, but has a lowered last "7."

Any thoughts?

There is 30++++ Vader coos! To me this doesnt make sense anymore! I only collect "familys" anymore! Thess annoying slight differences are just another steelmold belonging to the same pairs. On Vader there is also often three coos belonging to a family!! *headache*

This is by farest the most produced figure!!
