The TIG R2D2 Beercan Competiton Final Results!!!!!



Im sure youve seen the R2D2 Heineken Beercan (as used by George in his avatar), i have 2 of those cans (empty) and im offering to post them anywhere to 2 different people, however the 2 people MUST build the best Beer Can R2 they possibly can, it doesnt have to be the same as the small one in the photo but i expect a good build

A prize for the best one will be awarded, the prize is yet to be determined, do NOT enter this compo unless you are willing to have a really good go at it and there will only be the 2 cans available so if you botch it up there wont be another can!

I also want photographic documentation covering from start to finish



I think the easiest way is to pick 2 names is out of a hat so get your names down, i will close the entry date on Saturday 23rd Jan at 22.00HRS GMT
You will be given one week to complete your Beer Can R2

btw , is it the purpose that the can it self stay's completly regonizebale like the on in the pic

nevermind then rob , still a cool idea, but dont send me a can bro , wouldent want to fuck it up and not be able to go to the store and try over again

witch will happen and if i use a regular can jupiler i dont even have to go outside

You just have to make a dome and 3 legs, attach and if possible keep the rest of the can intact
If you like you can add things inside like small lights for his dome etc.


I think we can let every site member vote on which turns out the best when the compo ends

Well Jim - i can get lots of these cans so once were agreed on a good build i can dish them out

I think I will wait until there is a guide on building them first I would end up making a bad job of it

I would have joined if those cans came full of beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then again... I would have taken both of them and ruined the competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
