| Hey All, Thought I would start a movie poster thread since I couldn't find one  I personally collect movie posters & Japanese chirashis with a focus on zombie movies especially, the original Dawn of the Dead. I live in the US, but I know all the cool stuff is foreign (at least to me). So let's see what you got! Thanks for looking! Pat Early Green letter (US) Red letter (US) German Book German Movie Italian French French British Quad Japanese Chirashi Hungarian 25th Anniversary Convention Print 1st "Zombie Walk" Advertisements Dawn of the Dead Re-Make (US) Japanese Poster & Chirashi Book Mark: Night of the Living Dead 1978 Re-release Night of the Living Dead Re-make (US) Land of the Dead Diary of the Dead (US) & Chirashis I know these aren't posters, but it works :drunken: Red Toys 1999 (Japan I believe) Back of the packaging NECA Fly Boy Prototype

| Hey fellas! Thanks for the kind words! The best part of the Zombie posters & whatnot is that this is a hobby I share with my wife! For our first anniversary I was looking online as to what the "theme" is for the first year. It turns out you celebrate the first anniversary with paper, this got the wheels turning & basically started our poster collecting. First anniversary present to my wife: My first anniversary present: Pretty much after that it just exploded! |

| Hey Paul, I am also huge fan of the Zack Snyder re-make (running zombies!). The 1978 NOTLD poster is one of my favorites as well, I would love to add an original poster but those are huge $$$, so this one is a perfect & cheaper alternative. Also its pretty small (11x17) & space is always a issue. Interesting note, if you check the bottom the tag line the, "If it doesn't scare you, you're already dead", was later ripped off by "Phantasm" & can be seen on original posters for that! Found that to be interesting. Anywho, your Kill Bill posters are awesome! I am huge fan of anything with a sword! Especially Uma That Vertigo poster is just too cool! How big is that? It looks huge! |

| Cheers Pat, that's great you can share the poster hobby with your wife. The Vertigo poster actually belongs to my wife, and she loves the Kill Bills, so we also have a poster thing in common. She also has a bunch of movie postcards too which are cool. The Vertigo poster is not so big, it's roughly 12" x 24". I liked the movies Phantasm, didn't know they ripped off the tag lines though I remember they also had the line: 'the ball is back'. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| Great stuff Pat, love the 28 Days Later ones (good films and interesting take on the Zombie theme). The Ed Wood is cool and City of the Walking Dead. That first Dawn of the Dead remake one is really nice with the red colour. The Godzilla vs Mothra is stunning!!! I added two more Kill Bill posters, French versions belonging to my wife. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| Anybody seen the film "The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai across the 4th Dimension" ? Picked up a really cool movie poster of this film today that was included in a vintage Pif comic. I'd never even heard of this movie but the poster looked interesting, so I watched some scenes online and it looks like a really crazy 80s film with a great cast (Peter Weller, John Lithgow, Ellen Barkin, Clancy Brown, Jeff Goldblum, Christopher Lloyd). How did I miss that in 1984? Now I'm tempted to watch the whole film also found a small poster for Shocker which was included in a US vintage comic _________________________________________________ Paul F,
