Protomold Power Droid (Pre-production/Prototype)
It was produced in-house at Kenner via a lower yield mold in non-production colors. Its' details are rougher, has sliver cast legs, hand painted black, with different heels compared to a production piece, no coo and the stickers are hand cut prototypes. Lastly, the interior clicker area is very different and rough compared to the production piece.
Production piece is on the left and the Protomold is on the right. Steve : )
