Looks like I'm about done. I just have a couple auctions to wait on.

Thanks to everyone here who helped and made me feel welcome!

Indeed. I used to own two of them. Now, I'm hoping I can own one again someday. There were a few on eBay a few months ago, but now the only one is the ridiculously priced AFA one.

Sigh.... Crying or Very sad

The seller accepted my offer and my search for a TIE Bomber is over. Just a few loose ends remaining. Smile

If you can help, please PM!

I won a Lando General on a beater card that I am going to open, so all that's left is turtleneck Leia Bespin! I bid on a brown hair farmboy Luke, so I have to wait for that auction to end in a few days. It's kinda funny how I could find a vinyl cape Jawa, Blue Snaggletooth, and Yak Face, yet Leia Bespin is the biggest pain in the hind quarters....

I once knew a person who put together a loose set in almost the same time, I think you have him beat, seems like its taken you about a week lol

I wont tell you what happened to that guy, but lets just say I hope you are here to stay Wink

That's the cool thing about this obsession. There will ALWAYS be something to go after, and there will always be folks that share my passion! I sometimes drop off the radar, but I come back!

How comes you decided to go for a loose set in such a short time? Had the money to do it at the time or just wanted to see how quick you could do it?

I still haven't finished mine after 7 years lol!

Well, it's many things. The ex-wife stole most of my collection back in 2001. Then, I got a bit of an inheritence this month. That, coupled with a strong desire to get back a lot of things that were stolen has brought me to this point. I've been collecting for a very long time, and I wasn't about to throw the towel in because of all the hardships.

Yikes sounds like you had a bit of a rough time!

Well, I am glad collecting has found you again , sorry to hear about things with your ex, that must have sucked.

All the very best in collecting for the future + for a brighter future in your personal life!
