That's a great BSG Canadian edition pick up for $7, Larry. Very Happy  I've seen other complete games go for between $12 - $50.

@ Clint - I picked up some comics and magazines and found a couple of nice BG ads.
The first one looks like the UK version of the comic you featured a couple of posts back.

From Starburst Vol 1. N° 8. 1978. UK.

and I really like this cinema ad...

From Starburst N° 22. 1980.

Those are some great ad's Paul.

I think there are a few variants of that comic and not just from different countries. Look at the position of the viper, and the level of detail on the galactica. I've even noticed other differences on the covers.

I love the cinema ad, I haven't seen that scene before. cheers

it is in great shape I got it from a friend here. I am going to grab his viper as well this weekend. With that one I will only need a few more ships to complete the whole set.

Larry, I wish you all the luck in the hunt for one. Very Happy They have a nice MIB Canadian one at my local toy store, they are asking $2000.

I forgot to mention your great 12" Colonial Warrior. That is a sweet pick-up. I'm missing that piece from my collection at the moment.

I need to personally thank Clint for this one he found it while looking for another item, Considering the condition of mine this was a great pick up for me. The box was an added bonus that he didn't even know about til he picked it up so it now looks great in my collection as well Smile I just need to turn the tail fin around or it would be a pain for the pilot to fly lol

So cool to see that. I had one of these as a kid and it was huge. But I'm sure the two Vipers that came with it were made of a hard rubber rather than foam. IIRC the handle underneath the covered part was to hold it and fire the Vipers.
