I have a photo of a Removable Rocket Fett (currently on sale on MercadoLibre), it has the painted knee, the Removable Rocket Fett on the German site has an unpainted knee.

So ... Removable Rocket with painted and unpainted knee = yes, single and double scar COO removal = still searching.

Fixed Rocket painted knee with single and double scar = confirmed, unpainted knee with scar variants = still searching.

Wolff - so your saying the one on the German site has "probably" been stripped?

something is wrong with this figure....torso color, brown color, chest color etc.....its the ONLY unpainted knee EVER appeared.

no other exapmle is known....

I can confirm:

rem rocket with slipt and single scar
fixed rocket with split and single scar!

ALL WITH PAINTED KNEE!!! LOL

I question that variation because as far as i know its the known example with the unpainted knee. Who was the source of this figure / or where was the picture from?

Unless peeps turn up more (which is looking doubtful now from what Wolff says) we will have to assume the one on the German site been tampered with or is a genuine factory error, either way its the only photo of an unpainted knee Fett it seems.

Keep looking peeps, the truth is out there

Cheers B4nth4, its looking grim for unpainted knee Boba.

On another note - (not having a Removable Rocket Fett ... yet) - can you see any visible difference between the Fixed and Removable Fetts (except the Rocket), especially in the area the Rocket sits in? (just trying to find ways of making sure your buying the right Fett and not one thats had its Rocket pulled out), something a Macro can pickup to highlight what to look for.

Rob,

The removable rocket fett has sort of a false name, you cant put the rocket in and out like a you would think, as far as i know you would have to break up the fett to remove the rocket so you would need to look for signs of that being done and him being reglued.

The rem rocket fett is almost a factory error as the body was put together before the rocket so it was just seperate, therefor you cant insert the rocket in the hole due to the little edge on the base (that would normally fix the rocket inside the fett)

Guys is it possible to get the pictures taken on a white background? (A piece of printer paper works really well Smile

Its just means that they can be processed and edited much easier

Cheers Jay

The photos we need are ...

Have: Fixed Rocket Fett with Single Scar

Need: Removable Rocket Fett - single and split scar and Fixed Rocket Fett with Split Scar (Dan - yours is ideal if you can do it on a white background) Smile

Yes i read that Andy to look for damage, i also read that the seam is different on the Removable Rocket compared to a Fixed Rocket, i cant confirm this as i dont have one, perhaps you guys with both can scrutinise your Removable Rocket Bobas for anything different compared to a Fixed Rocket one? Im just looking for more certain ways to ID both incase there are some doing the rounds that have minimal or even no damage.
