Well it's a new week and you all know what that means... it's time for a new Trivia Question of the Week... this week's question is brought to you by the Pit or Carkoon, the place with the slowest digestion in the galaxy!  You all know the rules... no googling, but you can watch the movies to get the answers.  So without further ado... here's your question...

Question 31:
What is the name of the giant space slug the Millenium Falcon narrowly escapes in Empire Strikes Back?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: DarthBane

Well it's a new new week and it's time for a new question!  So get your thinking caps on and prepare yourselves.  This week's question is brought to you this week by Dex's Diner... get yourself a Hungry Hutt breakfast sandwich today and you'll be full til dinner!  Tell them Obi-wan sent you and get a Supernova drink free!  So... remember the rules... no googling... but you can go back and watch the movies if you really need a refresher!  So here's the question...

Question 32:
How many legs did the imperial probot have?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: darthmatt22

I'm saying none, because it hovered around and also because all the bits that hang down had little clamps on the ends of them.

Well it's a new week and we all know what that means... a new trivia question!  Only those who are true Star Wars fans know the answer to this one... so put on your thinking caps and answer off the top of your head... remember, no cheating by looking up the answer online (that includes asking Google, Siri or Cortana!)... You can do so AFTER you post to check yourself, but we'll weed out the real geeks here!  So without further ado...

QUESTION 33:
From what classic film does the word "Wookiee" originate from (and no it wasn't Star Wars!)?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: NONE

I guess this one was a much harder one then I thought! Not even a single guess! A little bit of extra trivia, the name of that movie is used throughout the Star Wars movies and appears in each one! Smile Extra points to anyone who can list where it appears in each film! Smile Well that's it for this week... stay tuned for next week's question and may the force be with you all!

I never would have gotten that. It was a harder than usual one for sure, not that I get many of the easier ones either. I tried one time to watch thx-1138 but couldn't get into it so I stopped and never tried again.

Well, we might have a little controversy!

So if my memory serves, it's not from THX-1138 (although I'm sure it was used in it). The story I always heard was that George Lucas heard it on the radio. Some drive time DJ made a screeching sound or animal sound and said something like "Man, I hit a Wookee!" or a nonsense word.

Actually... this comes from an interview with Lucas himself... so I believe the controversy is over.  I don't know where you heard that from thou.  Here's the proof:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wookiee

NOTE: There's even mention of the god aweful Star Wars Holiday Special concerning where the planet Kashyyyk first appeared! Thank god it didn't mention Chewie's family thou! LOL

Jim arguing with the site owner?? Ban him, ban him, ban hi....no? Fine. lol!

Just kidding. The question said film reference anyway so even if John is correct, the question was for a film not a radio station. Just throwing that out there. lol!

I can admit when I'm wrong !

The link actually just replaces a "DJ" with "actor" so I'm not totally nuts.

Well it's a new week and you all know what that means... a new Question of the Week!  That's right, every week I try to stump you guys on Star Wars questions, and I gotta say, I think you all have been doing a pretty good job so far!  This week's question is brought to you by Tibanna Mining Corporation... bringing you all the gas you need to live!  Now, remember the rules... No cheating by using Google or any form or search engine to get the answer... try to use your knowledge of the Star Wars universe to answer.  Answer first, then go look up your answer after (but don't post it until the answer is posted to keep it fair for everyone else!)  You can go and watch the movies for your answer if you really want to, but we're here to separate the geeks from the SUPER GEEKS!  So without further ado... here's this week's question... good luck young padawans!

QUESTION 34:
In real life, this material made up of nitrobenzene, saltpeter, sulfur, and diatomaceous earth would have caused Bespin to explode.  What is it?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: NONE

Hmmm let's break each one down shell we to come up with the correct answer sulfur smells bad and is capable of killing a Gorn from Star Trek, saltpeter another thing that makes stuff go boom and makes your dick go limp not really lol, the other two I don't know what they are but am sure they go  boom as well so all together they create this extremely explosive substance outlined in the vid below Smile
