Wow, pure shot in the dark, lucky guess... that's what popped in my head and I couldn't think of anything else... I thought I remembered reading an article about the Dagobah set for ESB and all the trap doors they had for the Yoda puppet...

All things considered though, I say we go with Bryan's "Studio 54 for the win" answer, it's much cooler & funnier! lol

He is a cool figure but all he did was tell Luke he didn't like him, it was Evazan who should have lost the arm Smile.

True, and a head flying across the bar and knocking down drinks like bowling pins would't have hurt either, lol! Smile

I didn't even realize it was spelled differently.

coincidently this got me thinking of pronunciations (which was discussed recently somewhere here but I don't recall). How do you pronounce Boba Fett?

If I recall Han says it as "Bow bah" when he says the name in the movie. As a kid I hadn't seen them all and I think it was my brother or someone who told me it was "Bah Bah" so that is just how I have always said it. Now seeing the different spellings from Boba fett to Panda Baba of course I see they are spelled differently so should be pronounced differently yet I still say "Bah Bah" fett, out of habit I guess.

I have the same issue as you Bryan, we said Boba Fett the same way you do...

By the way, I remember reading eons ago, or saw on TV that supposedly George Lucas got the name Boba Fett from a school bully's name in his elementary school...

The kids/Bully's name was Robert Alexander Fett, and he saw it in the boys bathroom written as Bob A. Fett.

Always thought that was hilarious, but I have never tried to corroborate it in the internet age. Stormie Smiley

Good morning everyone... it's Monday, the start of a new week and we all know what that means... a brand new question!  I'm not gonna make it easy for you this week!  Let's see who know's their stuff and who is gonna cheat and use the internet for the answer!  There's only one place this information has ever appeared, so we'll see just how much of a geek you really are!  So if you think you are ready, remember the rules... no googling for answers... you can use any other source (the movies, the books, the comics, the tv shows) but you can't go on the internet to find the answers!  If you think you're up for the challenge, here we go!

Question 44:
What was the name of the pilot of the only Y-wing that escaped the destruction of the first Death Star?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: arohk

Damn, thats a good one, lol! I always thought that it was maybe that Gold Leader guy, but only because I don't remember him dying.. Nevertheless, I doubt it was him, and I have absolutely no clue what the name could possibly be even if I knew who it was?? Good luck to everyone else Smile
