Aunt Beru well that I had no idea on, I will add that to my memory bank of useless trivia answer's only Star Wars nerds would find interesting lol. At least that way when we do our next Star Wars trivia game here in the city I can wow everyone if that comes up.

So out of curiosity does anyone else here have and play with Obsessed With STAR WARS
by Benjamin Harper, or am I the only one who needs a life lol.

Good Monday morning all you happy campers... and if you're not happy you don't count!  It's time for a new question of the week.  I'm sure you all should know this one.  I figured I'd make it a bit easier on you all since so far the past 3 weeks I've stumped ya'll!  So remember the rules... no cheating by using the internet for your answers!  Let's get this party started!

Question 90:
Why did C-3PO have a silver leg instead of being all gold in Episode 4?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: NO ONE

There are many theories on this one On why he had a silver shin. Some stated it was added in the newer release of Star Wars as it wasnt in the 1977 release (it was).

My answer: For me I will use the idea where C3P0 came from. Gearge Lucas liked the robot in the movie metropolis, and 3P0 was based on it. they used the chrome look for C3P0 at first but changed it to gold leaving the chrome as a sort of homage to this. That is what I am going with anyway.

Random guess I am gonna say it is a patch job. He lost the lower leg somewhere, somehow and was united with a replacement leg at some point.

I gotta say, I feel this week was a draw at best. The phrasing of the question is "Why did C-3PO have a silver leg instead of being all gold in Episode 4?"
This means what is the storyline lore or cannon accepted reason. If the question had been "why does Anthony Daniels c3po costume have a silver leg?", then I could understand the explanation given as the answer you were looking for; however given the phrasing of the question I assume a more cannon or storyline reason is the answer that was required. Now, I still don't know if any guessed the answer correctly as I looked it up and seems the most accepted reasoning in the story is that his leg had a bomb placed in it.......seriously that is what I found when searching this out.

It has to be 3PO (Anthony Daniels).

To my knowledge he's in all films to date.

Since he guessed that I am going to say Kenny Baker as r2d2. Not sure if that is right, but I think he has been in them.

Always let the Wookie win. I'm going with Chewbacca. Peter Mayhew.

Good morning all you happy rebels out there!  Since yesterday was a holiday I didn't get much of a chance to post a new question, but I'll make up for it right now!  Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend.  I saw the new Solo movie and it wasn't too bad!  So without further ado... here's this week's question!

Question 92:
Which Star Wars movie was the first to be released on DVD?

Answer:

First Correct Answer: TheSchwartz

I would imagine it has to be the Phantom Menace, but Lrd is tricky from time to time.

Dang, I been busy last few days and hadn't had a chance to comment yet. I figured it was the release of the original trilogy all at the same time. This phantom menace you refer to doesn't exist in my star wars universe, so I will just go on believing it had to be either all three ot movies or a new hope by itself. lol!

Good Monday morn all you rebelscum out there... it's time for a new trivia question.  I hope you've all had a good weekend and got a chance to see the new Solo movie.  It wasn't half as bad as I was expecting.  But, let's get started this week shall we?

Question 93:
How many owners did R2-D2 have?  (Bonus if you can name them in order!)

Answer:

First Correct Answer: NO ONE

Trying to think, I believe it was 4 but it might be more.the first owner i dont remember a name but he came to obi wan from someone I believe. So we have unknown, then obiwan, then captain Antilles, then Luke. If the fake ploy of giving them to jabba counts as ownership then that changes the answer to 5 and adds jabba to the mix.

So this is a relatively tricky question.

Here are my thoughts...

Starting with the earliest, we've seen R2 being property of Padme on Naboo. After her death and the birth of the twins, I believe it's safe to say R2 became property of Senator Organa. When Leia becomes of age it can be assumed R2 became her property. After this, you can technically say that R2 may have become property of the Jawas, after all, possession is 9/10ths of the law. Then R2 is purchased by Owen Lars and after his death R2 presumably becomes property of Luke. R2 could technically be considered Leia's property once again when Luke goes into hiding in The Force Awakens.

Tough one to remember on a Monday Morning.

I believe the Droids cartoon was thrown out with most of the EU when Disney took over.
