Goals for 2016

1. Publish my Top Toys figure guide (This will happen!)
Done, although it nearly didn't as I was pushing my luck and didn't publish it till the 28th November

2. Acquire any one of the variants from my MOST WANTED TOP 5 list, in no partial order..

PBP Luke Farmboy
Orange Hair Luke Farmboy
POCH Toxic Limbs Bossk
Toltoys Jawa
PBP No-COO "Disco Boots" Death Squad Commander
2 out of 5 isn't bad, Toltoys Jawa and a "Disco Boots" DSC added to my collection.

3. Add 2 foreign items to my paperwork focus. I missed out of several during 2015 including Meccano, Glasslite and POCH so fingers crossed for 2016.
Although it's getting harder to fill the gaps I added a B-Wing Fighter (Lili Ledy/Mexico), X-Wing (Meccano/France) and Imperial Attack Base (Toltoys/Australia)

4. Add 10 figure to my loose POCH collection.
I blew this target out of the window... Princess Leia Organa, Jawa, DSC, Rebel Commander (Light Brown Boots), Dengar, Blonde Luke Farmboy, Stormtrooper, 2-1B, Imperial Commander, Luke Bespin, R5-D4, Leia Hoth, Yoda (Grey Head), Power Droid, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Han Solo... 16

Goals for 2017

1. Complete the Top Toys guide

2. Add 2 more foreign items to my paperwork focus, maybe even find a Playmix item??

3. Acquire any one of the variants from my MOST WANTED list, in no partial order..

Wind-Up R2-D2 #1 or #2 (Takara)
Luke Farmboy (PBP)
Han Solo Bespin (Painted back Buckle) (Lili Ledy)
Orange Hair Luke Farmboy
Toxic Limbs Bossk (POCH)
Brown Nose Teebo (Lili Ledy)

4. Continue my COO hunting, 19 to go, so maybe find 5 of them.

lol!  and once again I sucked at my goals

Didn't suck at my goals this year because didn't set any Twisted Evil

Was very pleased with some of the paperwork items I added like international adverts, comics and magazines.

Goal for 2017 will be to continue focussing on paperworks.

Goal for 2016:

1. Complete my first set of figures (loose, complete) -- minus the VCJ.. for now!
One more to go: Blue Snaggletooth

2. Randomly buy pbp/poch, meccano, clipper variants of favorite figures.
Added a Ledy Yoda and another PBP is currently on the way  cheers

3. Continue to be thrown off course by buying deals that come up of things I don't need.
I've actually been the best I have at saving money this year and not splurging on my SW or Marvel/comic collections.

__

Goal for 2017:

1. Knock out the last remaining figure, Blue Snaggletooth, then move on to the more sought after variants of other figures (i.e. YPS, Hollow Tube)

2. Pick a focus.

3. Help in achieving/ building something new for TIG.

I don't think that I had any goals for 2016, if I did then I didn't reach any of reached them,
but I am seting myself some goals for 2017 and (to me) they are huge
I would like to buy a full set of Kenner 12" vintage figures loose I all ready have C-3PO so I just need all the others.
If I can achieve this I will be bloody happy (and bloody annoyed at myself for spending so much money)
So any leads would be great.

I moved house ( to Mum's!! ) left my collection there. It's still a mess and in crates. I have managed a small Endor display cabinet and that's about it. I finished my Ledy cardback run, added quiet a few Toltoys cardbacks, finally got one model Trem so it has been a productive year. Same yearly goal- catalogue my collection & trade/sell spares. This year's collecting has been more face to face acquisitions. Family life has been a bit tough so the hobby has taken a back seat. Not sure what 2017 will bring. I can still look at my 'toys' and smile so that's the main thing. Very Happy

1. Complete my 12" run (missing Han and a few accessories and that bloody Tusken Raider)

Failed. Got Han but still missing Han medal, Leia accessories, TR and Obi saber

2. Complete my loose diecast (need bomber, falcon and apparently my Slave I has flown off somewhere)

Failed. Think I have a Slave I now but not the other two

3. Get more playsets (I don't have the room but i need several still. Mainly the cardboard ones)

Failed

4. Start on droids and ewoks loose

Well I did start. I have 1.

5. Finish my sigma mugs

Failed. Still only 6.

"Just like every year, no idea what the future will bring!! "

I never set goals since I don't really know what will come up in the foreign world. I did pick up some amazing items this year. Though as I sit here staring at a Uzay Headman and after swapping carded Blue Stars I have to say I wouldn't have imagined it. Also snagged a nice Harbert Snag, 20bk Fett, and some other great items.

I will say that I ran into 2 reseals which kind of cheesed me off a bit but luckily it was followed with some nice stuff.

As for 2015, same as 2014. Who knows!!

I'm nothing if not consistent  lol

I didn't have a goal but I did manage to get my hands (finally) on a 12bk Meccano which was eluding me. Grabbed another Harbert Import Sticker ESB as well! Uzay Headman was short lived so he's with Patsy now happy to be surrounded by bootlegs. I did just get a graded Toltoys VCJ so it's pretty cool to have 2 Vinyl Jawas here.

Maybe I need to set a goal to get it happen. So my 2016 goal is to get a Canadian Sears Vaccuform and/or ESB Square Meccano

Wow, I actually hit a goal!

Got my ESB Square Meccano. This was an odd year so I'm not sure what 2017 will hold. I quietly sold off a few pieces to people so for the first time I don't have a complete carded set. I did pick up an Irish 3 pack which was cool and a few odds/ends. Considering the year I'm having, it's not too bad.

For 2017 I'm going to wait and see. But a Vaccuform figure still adorns my list

Goal for 2016. - Change focus to childhood figures and collect minty Palitoy carded versions.

Made a start with some easy pick ups but slow progress due to chaotic collecting and selling.

Goal for 2017

1. Be less erratic.

2. Buy Palitoy ESB R2 / C3PO or LX Wing for focus.

3. Stick to loose variants of one or two figures.

4. Build a display.
