wasnt sure where to post this, so apologies now if its in the wrong section.

ive taken a couple of pictures of my collection and cant figure out how to upload them
ive tried clicking on the picture button but nothing seems to happen

yes its probabley summit simple but i cant see for looking

advice would be great

Hey Andy.

This was a real pain in the ass for me to figure out at first also, so I'll see if I can help you out. I'm definitely not a computer wiz and I'm not real great at giving directions but hopefully I can give you the basics. There's probably an easier way I just haven't figured it out yet.

The first thing you have to do is set up an account to an independant web server that hosts images. You can't directly upload to the board. I used servimg.com but there are others.

For the servimg site click the upload button on the home page. Then next to the file area click browse and select the files on your computer that contain your pics.

Select the picture you want and click the "host it" button. Wait for the picture to completely upload.

Under the BBcode area either click the "thumbnail" link for the pic or the "image" link for a full size pic.

Then just rt mouse click over the selected link and copy and paste to the message box on the forum

I hope this helps a little and maybe someone smarter than me can give you better directions later.
