PostSubject: 1984 Home Movies with Star Wars toys   Mon Mar 27, 2017 9:37 pm

Hi all,

My name is Sebastian Nelson and I hope it is okay if I share some clips from my old family home movies circa 1984 featuring myself (with the hair helmet), my brother and an older neighbor boy playing with vintage SW toys in California (the first video is sort of a compilation of the other videos, but the last video is me unwrapping a Y-wing fighter at my birthday party).  I hope they bring back some fond memories:

I've posted these before on some other message boards, so I apologize if some of you have seen these before (I only recently discovered the Imperial Gunnery Forum).

Cheers,

-Sebastian

Welcome to TIG!

So , I wont lie and say I watched every minute (might be a little creepy if I did lol) but I did check out a few and it's awesome. At this point in our lives where we are so concerned about shelving and protecting it's fun to watch when we didn't care about anything but enjoying them!

Thank you!

Thanks!  Did you keep any of your childhood SW toys?  Unfortunately mine are long gone.

Welcome to TIG and thanks for sharing those memories. You had some cool toys and nice to see imagination at play just like in the Kenner commercials. I don't have any of my SW toys left just a few books. I recently went through a lot of old family photos looking for images of SW toys, posters and teeshirts I remembered having, but didn't find anything other than bad haircuts captured in time

lol!
