PostSubject: To new models/ props I got   Sun Jul 09, 2017 11:24 am

I wasn't sure where exactly where to put this, I now have 2 really cool kits to build, the first is a 3D printed Star Wars E-11 blaster. The detail on this is awesome, the first photo is a stock photo the other is mine showing more of the details.

The second is a Star Wars electro binoculars these were done by a friend here in the city. they are made from resin with lots of detail.

Now there is something I was thinking of doing with the blaster. I would do both if I had a 3D printer or if it wasn't so expensive to have the parts made.
What I am thinking is take my E-11 blaster and convert it to an E-11s sniper rifle which I think we dont have any of them.

So here are what the two would look like when done

E-11s Sniper Rifle ( Note: this is a sterling Type 1 carbine which the E-11s is made from, I would need to add more to it.

Thanks all for looking and for your opinions

These are for the trooping? If so I think the regular blaster would come more in handy than the other. The sniper is cool, but who uses it in the movies or is it like an expanded universe weapon? I like the look of either though.

Not being a model builder I have no tips or tricks but Jim, building the millennium falcon and other models, probably does.

Since this is model builds i am going to move it to the creative section.

Thanks Bryan for the life of me I could not figure that out yesterday, didn't help that I was exhausted after playing a charity road hockey game all after noon Smile.

The sniper rifle would be from the expanded universe, I may have figured out how to do both by making the kit one as is and using parts from a toy one to do the other.

Make sure to do in progress photos. I like the build threads. Very neat to see progress and finished product.

I'm all in favor to see a sniper rifle, but Bryan has a point. Maybe stick to the OG. scratch

Either way, I agree - Can't wait to see the work! Good luck!
