I just heard Mete passed away last month. He had resigned his membership here some while back but he was a great wealth of knowledge in the UZAY world. I only interacted with him a few times but he was always nice when we spoke.

That's sad news. I remember him from rebelscum forum then here briefly. Knowledgable guy and enjoyed his bootlegs. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Funny enough despite his leaving TIG he and I were friends in real life

Mete (pronounced Met-ta) was a big help when Ginger had her surgery this year. He worked at Johns Hopkins and made sure to contact doctors, come visit, brought my wife flowers, and overall just a be super nice guy.

If anyone wants to donate, there is a gofundme page

I never had any contact with Mete, but was always reading his knowledge with bootlegs.
I am sad and shocked to hear he has left us. I hope and wish all the best for his family.
