PostSubject: Rancor Keeper Vibroblade   Wed Feb 28, 2018 5:12 pm

Hi there. Started buying a few figures to fill in the gaps after rediscovering my childhood collection in my parents loft-exciting times! A lot has happened since I was a kid, so really new to all the variant and repro stuff and trying to learn as I go.

Recently bought a Rancor Keeper, no COO, LFL 1984. The seller stated that the hood and vibroblade are both originals but the weapon sinks when I test it. Can't find any info to say definatively that this would indicate a repro. Can anyone help? I have read the variant TIG section and it doesn't appear to be as light as the repro photographs there. But, also read a thread elsewhere which gave all original sinkers and it wasn't listed.

Apologies if this has been covered before. Thanks

There is a light grey & dark grey FAKE. If it sinks it is a reproduction. This picture includes a dark grey fake

Thanks, a real help. Didn't want to start saying it's a repro without being sure.
