Ha! Yes, that would be a typo. I meant "tough" obviously. Hard enough to get pieces for one focus let alone two or three.

Mattias works hard at it though. And is persistent. Heck, he even managed to pry loose an item from my collection that I never thought I'd sell.

Look forward to those updated pics.

I should have some updates to the Stormtrooper focus soon, although no pre production stuff (well, at least not vintage pre production).

Superb Mattias. I also never get bored of seeing that chirpa run. What is your favourite piece in the run may I ask??

Maybe you're confusing John A with John Wooten? Wooten was the Stormtrooper focus collector before me, and he was the original owner of this. If you check out the Collector's Archive, there's a lot of Stormtrooper items that are attributed to Wooten, including the amazing complete set of Stormtrooper proofs and sample cards.

I wanted to add this first shot Death Star Droid to the archive. This may possibly be the only known complete first shot Death Star Droid example that exists (to date or as far as I know).

Wow, what an amazing addition. I remember talking to Tom Derby about this very prototype.. It looks absolutely awesome. Personally, I think this tops the Ben first shot addition...

Yeah Steve, you've become this like, heavy-hitter first shot prototype guy in almost no time whatsoever. That DSD is AWESOME, always was on of my favorite figures as a kid, and it looks to be in amazing shape!

Are you considering sending it in for grading? For such a rare piece in that kind of shape, wouldn't be a bad idea.

Hadn't thought about the Steelers tie in. Possible I guess.

As far as the metallized Tie Pilot, it's pretty easy to figure out where it is. The archive lists it as being in the collection of Vic and Lisa and from what I've heard, they pretty much don't sell anything. Thus this figure, along with it's companion

Metallized ERG

are probably still there.

Things like those two figures, and the black and yellow Stormtrooper are probably the only ones that were made and/or survived. It was a lot of work back in the day for collectors to track these items down. Lots of talking to people and following leads.

Don you certainly did benefit by being lucky enough to acquire that black and yellow Stormtrooper First Shot. He is awesome. That Vac-metal ERG is a beautiful item too tho. Iv never seen that or the Tie Pilot before.

Hi everyone, we've updated the index on page 1 of this thread with all the new pictures added recently. There are still a few descriptions missing, but all the pics are there.

Steve (who originally started this thread) is no longer able to update the index, so TIG Moderators will be doing this now.

We also added a new part to the index to show non-character items like the Millenium Falcon proof and Three Packs etc.

Please continue to add your great pics and discussion to this thread, and we'll update the index with thumbnails as and when they arrive

Great to see the main page getting updated for this thread. One correction on it, the 3rd Luke Jedi image is a protomold and not a hardcopy. Here's some more info on that piece too for anyone interested.

Thanks Shawn - I'll edit that one. Will also add some of Steve's that I missed earlier.

Let us know everyone if there are any other errors and I'll update them
