Lol Joe, yep been spending loads but thankfully its all from my baggie sales.
I done really well, bought lots of nice moc's so far, still got lots of cash to spend plus about 30 baggies still to sell.

The fett was paid for by my Blue Snag baggie sale, so that seemed a fair trade.
Sad to see the snaggie go but a fett was a must for the run.

I still have my woolies 8 pk baggies to fall back on when the money runs dry lol....just kidding they are going nowhere Wink

It was quite a dilema lol. But seeing as i've moved away from baggies i think i made the right choice.

Right now i just have a a slim tall shelving unit thats way too small to display the carded, so right now they are just lined up. Not the best way to display them.

I picked up this from the post office today. It's not Vintage, but it's about the greatest movie ever so I think it's ok to post it here. It's loaded with beautiful pictures and I'm sure the 360 pages will be an amazing read. Here are some pics from the book Smile

Get it while it's hot, Chris. I have only briefly looked at it and I can easily say that the pictures in this is better than in The making of Star Wars. More shots of the main cast and lots of beautiful shots of Carrie Very Happy
Empire is my favourite movie of all times so I'm really looking forward to reading all about the making of it Very Happy

Like last week, I again enjoyed a nice and quite moment on this rainy Saturday morning to take a look at your newest pick ups (from p 59 this time).

  • Tony: some good looking MOC's you have there. The unpunched ERG looks sweet. I also like the minty AST-5, need one of those for my own collection too
  • Jimmy: A Macao Biker Scout for only 5 bucks! For sure I will visit FACTS next year too, Belgium is at very close distance for me! I don't understand why Kenner contracted a factory in Macao to produce only a few figures (Biker Scout, Chief Chirpa, Gammorean Guard, more?). The Hong Kong based factories had reached maximum production capacity?
  • Soren: Great baggies! The survival kit brings back old memories. Why the waterpipe has a double seal? To prevent kids from smoking? Very Happy
And more sweet mini rigs, I like that minty CAP-2. Looking at the picture on the box more closely, I wonder what Bossk was thinking when capturing poor Rebel Commander on Hoth and bringing him all the way to Darth Vader's Executor. BTW: For a guy who travelled through absolute vacuum and zero point something Kelvin, Rebel Commander still looks amazingly vivid, at least he can still raise his left arm, or is he just deep frozen? I wonder to whom belongs the 2nd CAP-2 in the background. One of the other bounty hunters?
  • Mark: That is a great unused MIB TIE Fighter you got there! Nice VC Jawa too. Congrats!
  • Wouter: I like that Computer schoolbook, is it vintage too? You own a Sandcrawler to fill the empty box? Good to hear that you start to love that great country up to the North Very Happy.
  • Carl: The replica Stormtrooper gun looks real, you just buy them like that or made it yourself? Planning to join the 501st one day?
  • Del: Impressive Boba MOC!! As ur a baggies specialist, maybe you can help me by telling whether the Cloud City playset came with tape or heat sealed baggies. My MIB set has four tape sealed baggies in their white box. I got some hints from Emiel those baggies might not be authentic to this playset.
  • Javi: An AFA85 dark boot Rebel Commander,....(speechless)
  • Tom: Great book with fine pics. Hey is it just me or is Carrie Fischer looking pretty hot(h) when wearing her hair loosely?
  • Brad: Nice Star Wars curtains, they would fit nicely to the bedset stuff discussed here.

Nice weekend guys!

This week's harvest: some german Star Wars books and comics, and a very cool vintage Tusken mask, made by CESAR in 1978. Thanks to Michifromhell (Michael). Judged from the size, I guess this must be a mask meant for children. You can read more about the bigger version mask here. My mask has the price tag still attached like the one on swca, which is quite sweet, I think.

Great additions all Cool

Regarding the CC playset, sorry but yeah all the ones i have seen have had heat sealed ESB-D baggies.
So unless someone can confirm they have actually opened a sealed box and found taped baggies i would say yours are not correct No

Thanks for clarifying Del! I guess I have to start looking for heat sealed ESB-D baggies of Lobot, Han Bespin, Ugnaught, and Dengar. How rare are these?

Tigerham-Nice pickups. Really lovin' that Tri-logo Bikerscout.

Jason-Nice pair of curtains as well bud. Maybe it's time to start a SW interior decorating thread. Laughing

Marco-Good stuff also. I love old SW Halloween masks for some reason. Must be part of the whole child nostalgia thing.

ClonerZ-Great assortment of playsets and vehicles. That AT-AT looks really cool. I've got to get me one of those.

Nice job guys. Can't wait to see more.
