I made the pics but not the diorama. The pics are actually just an excerpt of a much bigger Jabba the Hutt palace which even holds a Rancor Cave. I will post other pics later in this thread. I bought it from a dutch collector earlier this year. He told me that the diorama was made in the 90s to promote the POTF2 line in a toy shop. His father had bought it afterwards for him to play with.

Hey Jimmy, that's a big project you are working on. When going through the pics, I got the feeling I was actually walking in Jabba's palace.

it surthenly has gotten larger then i first had planned , lol

and iam already thinking of the next level , still thinking wich upper or lower

it has been stress full , already broke down two big parts to get that final result that you see in the last pics

but i started taken pics at the end of everyday , and putting them on the pc and seeing a pic like this

well lets just say it became an adiction




i finaly stated building my new collection room and when iam finished with it , i will finish the dio

and like then i will update the og thread everyday so you can follow the process

i cant even remeber how many kilo's of cast when in there so far plus the water and metal parts

Do you have more background info about your diorama? Was it build for one store exclusive or were there more for a retail chain or so?
