Amazing jimmy, I thought I was looking at some long lost footage from the movie until I realized they were figures! So awesome.

After being away for some time it is just fantastic to see that this thread is alive and well. Many cool pics of different sorts. I originally posted this in the latest acquisitions thread, back in May, and have been meaning to get round to posting it here for a while now, but keep forgetting.
But now with the new and improved TIG's Tosche Station section, the timing seems right   

The story behind this is somewhat sad, in that, unfortunately there is one less Top Toys MOC in the world, due to bad mishandling, by the U.S postal service, combined with AFA's inadequate internal protection of Mocs and their bubbles   



This Moc was listed on ebay by the seller because he had bought an AFA graded TT Vader MOC.
However when the package arrived it looked like the box had been drop kicked!!!
Unfortunately when the seller opened the package, Vader had burst through his bubble and was rattling around inside the AFA casing. But  he was still clinging on to the bubble, merely, by the tip of his saber, which was stuck inside the bubble, putting stress on the tip   

I was looking for a minty loose TT Vader for my collection, so bought the damaged AFA MOC and had it shipped to Jay (Psybertech). Who then expertly removed the card and figure from its Acrylic casing to better protect it for its journey over to the U.K.

Although it is saddening that there is one less TT Moc in the World, I decided to have a bit of fun with the AFA casing and the removal of the Vader figure via a comic strip scenario, hope you like it.













Once the Case and damaged MOC arrived, I set up the scenes in my light tent, then took the photos.
Then I digitally re-worked the pics, in Photoshop, to make the AFA case look completely whole again and undamaged. then created the 'comic strip look' and inserted the speech bubbles, all using Photoshop.

Chris, yes I remember that somewhat sad tale but you managed to turn it into brilliant comic fun. Any plans to make more comic style stories? The PS effects look great.

Thanks Paul, I really enjoyed creating this comic strip. Although I have no imediate plans to make any more, as it was quite time consuming. However,  I would like to do some more shots of my figures in action, out and about, perhaps in the garden. Maybe some Endor type scenes, as it would be nice to set them in a different environment, other than a blue background
