Hi is there any easy way to spot a repro cape for the Princess Leia Organa figure ?

But I was looking for something about the White cape for princess leia.

Having recently been in this boat, I'm going to 'try' and scan a white Leia Organa cape & a ISHBG/snowtrooper cape & see if I can get the textures off it.

The best way I could describe it is: When you get a Macdonalds Burger, the polystyrene carton has this sort of crackle look to it (if you get my meaning). My vintage snow trooper has this slight texture to both sides. Whereas the other figures (I'm thinking Ben Kenobi) have a smooth outer and a slightly textured inner.

I received a repo cape on a Leia Organa recently, the things that made it obvious were:
Thin Cape Material, the cape was very flexible, and smooth both sides.

It was also obviously very 'white' compared to the figure.

A vintage cape has to 'look' vintage if you catch my drift.

I would love to see some pictures, but I also think there is variants of those capes.

OK. I spent some time last night photographing my NO COO Leia Organa Cape here goes:

Here is a straight shot of the back, you'll need to zoom right in to see the texture on the back of the cape.


Here's the back of the cape, held up to the light. If you zoom right in you should be able to see the cross hatch pattern. By coincidence, I had my Leia Bespin along side as well. If you look at the texture of this cape, it is the same (texture wise) to the Leia Organa.


Here's inside the cape, its smoother but still has a slight texture to it.


I also photographed my Snowtrooper cape, (which I'll put on the other forum page). Basically its the same material, but put on reverse. i.e. the textured side is on the inner & the smoother side the outer.
