| I have in the past limelighted my palitoy cardbacks by character run, thought it was about time to do some by cardback type, so here they are. And what with the rapture due any hour now depending on what timezone you're in, it's not a moment too soon! First up are the 12 backs, the first SW card, a mixture of 12A/12B here as Han was only found on 12A and Jawa/DSC have only been found on 12B. None missing on this run. Next up are the 20 backs. None missing on this run. Next are the 30A backs, the first ESB card. Luke and Leia feature their alternative pictures on this cardback. None missing on this run. Next are the 30B cardbacks. 30B for the first 12/20 characters are quite rare. I have 5 of them. I have all known 30B's beyond the first 12/20 characters. Next are the 41 backs. There's a mixture of 41A & 41B/41C as most charcters are one or the other, but not both. Missing a few on this run. Next up are the 45A backs, the only palitoy card to feature a blue circle offer. Got all known variations here. There may be an undocscovered Yoda/Ugnaught out there. Note that 4-LOM is the only character to come in 2 different types of 45A. The background on the text under the blue circle is transparent on one, and black on the other one. Next is 45B. This spelled the end of the palitoy logo on the front on the cards. I missing a few here too. Next is 45C, the first ROTJ card. Missing a few here. Next is the 65 back, a mixture of 65D, and 65A/B/C as characters were either one type or the other. Missing a few here. There are quite a few characters were 65D's have not been found yet. Lastly, is the 70 back, or Tri Logo. There are 6 characters that came without the Tri Logo on the front which are quite rare, I have 3 of them. Then there are the last 17 that came out after the first 70 characters which still say 70 figures on the back. I have all of those. That's all, hope you enjoyed seeing them all together! Jason |

| Now that's what I'm talking about. Jawa & Madine Tri in great condition- just CCP & Bespin guards missing? Rapture is over- I'm still here- if you're not I suppose it's too late to ask to be in your will The Palitoy logo certainly does have extra appeal. |

| What a fantastic collection of cardbacks, they look great seeing them side by side for each cardback #. You seem to have them in some sort of sleeves, do you mind telling me where you get them from? |

| Jason,
What a joy to look at this huge focused collection.
What is your favourite top-5 cardback in your collection (in any order)?

| Oooh, that's quite hard.
1) 30B Princess Leia (or 30B DSC). 30B's for the first 12 characters are uber rare, and Han Solo/Ben are the more common ones. 2) Hammerhead 45A. Was only discovered as a MOC late last year, this is the only other known example. 3) 4-LOM 45A/45AB. The 2 different types of this cardback lead to me discovering that 45A is actually 3 different sub variations, and 4-LOM is the only character that has more than 1 sub variation. 4) Yoda 65D. Is unique as far as I know. There are many other characters without 65D variations being discovered yet. 5) The 70B General Madine (or the Jawa). Nice to have both the holy grails of tri-logo cardback collecting.

| Great collection!!!
Out of interest - are you still using the Top Loaders to store them - I know some people have concerns about long-term use of them due to sweating, sticking and so on??? |

| Jason, I know this hasn't been updated for a while and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you had found others so probably already no this, but 4-LOM is not the only character that can be found with a 'clear' box and 'black' box under the Palitoy logo on the 45A. Did you find a Han Bespin as well? I remember reading it in one of your posts I'm sure, anyway, heres Luke Bespin with both: Like I said, I'm pretty sure you already no this. When you get a chance though can you have a look at all your 45A's and help me solve a little riddle. In the case of Luke Bespin, the clear box originated from Unitoy (although there is no factory code) The black box version originated from the Smile factory and does have an 'S' designation. Can you tell me if the 'S' in on all your 'black box' cards and if there are any 'clear box' cards with a letter? Logic dictates that the 'clear box' and 'black box' variations are actually a result of being produced in a different factory. Cheers |

| Haven't got access to my cards right now, but the list of both 45a and 45ab figures is now 4-lom, Han Bespin, Luke Bespin and rebel soldier. Have noted that little S, will see if there is any pattern.
Cheers Jason |

| Hats off to all round nice guy Craig aka yogi for gifting me my latest cardback. It's a 45B Leia Bespin! And just to show it's not the common German cardback. Here's it is in in the 45b run. Up to 43 now! Thanks again Craig for your generous gift. I owe you one! Jason

| It's been 8 years in the making, but I am very happy to say I have finally found a hybrid CCP. This completes my run of 6 hybrid cards. And it also completes my run of trilogo cardbacks! Jason |

| Another big find. Thanks to Andy Clarke and Max Field for giving me the heads up on an ebay auction that had this bad boy in it:- This card/figure combo was previously unverified on the palitoy matrix:- http://www.freewebs.com/mrpalitoy/ I now have the first 12 on 41 backs:- And my complete run looks like this now:- Jason |

| Fantastic collection of cardbacks and great to see some nice tri-logo ones. I'm biased because I remember so many tri-logo items when I was a kid but the general design and some of the alternative images are superb. |
