| Dañados para a brincadeira = Damaged by the game on Portuguese Mine: While looking for a signature name for my designs back on the 90's turned my name in to OZIO: The H is silent so goodbye to it, never liked the R, turned the C in to a Z and finally IO that sounds like YO, (ME)... HORACIO -O--ZIO |

| It's actually my name. How unimaginative!
Back when I first started collecting, before ebay, before paypal, I figured it would be considered favourably on forums that you're willing to be identified by your real name. I'm willing to stand by my conduct and actions in both the virtual and the real world.
This was pretty important to me since back then as a collector in a country other than the US the standard way to purchase something was to send an envelope full of greenbacks to the other side of the world! Reputation was very important.
Before people ask, no I'm not named after a Star Trek character. I predate that character by quite some time! |

| Thargoil is derived from Thargor, fictional alter-ego of Orlando Gardiner from the novel Otherland.
'Orlando Gardiner—a young boy suffering from progeria who is drawn to Otherland while playing a virtual reality MMORPG called Middle Country, in which he is the Barbarian hero Thargor'
I didn't feel correct to just copy it, so i made it a little 'mine'. |

| hodge-podge of either play on words and dual-meanings really:
cyber (dealing with tech and virtual reality) + psy (not that stupid Korean pop dude - meaning or dealing with the mind) = psyber + tech (as in computers/science and also technician) = psybertech

Because sometimes in life you have to be a trooper to get through and right now thats me, so it felt right. This is one great site btw, you guys are very helpful and welcoming so thanks to you all and thanks John. Trooper - aka Mark |

| I got the nickname "curch" in third grade. It's just a shortened version of my last name. But it stuck and I am called this by my friends to this day, almost 30 years later |

| My real name is actually Chipsteak.
Or....in 1970s/1980s Britain a chipsteak was a cheap frozen processed meat product. When I search for it now I find something slightly classier than that, though. Anyway, a friend once dubbed me this name due to my love of trashy food and that night I was looking for a name to call myself on some forum or other. And, for forum use, I've kept it a decade and more on,

| Mine is pretty simple, Kenner because I've been in love with Kenner products since I was just a little guy and 76 because that's the year I was born. I do think Kenner 76 has a nice ring to it. |

| I figure it has been a while and surely we have lots of new members around who can add to this. I also realized I never added why mine is trappedtexan. See I am born and raised in Texas, but my dad's side of the family is all from Oklahoma. I chose to go to college in Oklahoma and while I was there I created a username for ebay. Of course since I was a Texan in Oklahoma who couldn't really leave I felt like a trapped texan........I have used the name for everything ever since. I returned to Texas as soon as I could and haven't looked back. In truth I did like my time in Oklahoma after a while, but at first being a new person in a different environment was no fun at all. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| James truth be told, Oklahoma in some areas is probably not all that bad. The area where I was living was about as economically repressed as you can find there. _________________________________________________ Bryan
