What type of repair are you attempting to do?

I had problems with the legs, I think I have fixed it. But how do you put the machine together.

There is so many parts to hold on at the same time.

I am talking about inside the bottom where the button controls the legs.

It has been a while since I last dismantled the walking mechanism on an AT-ST.

I will look at mine tomorrow in order to remind myself of how to do it & get back to you. I'll try to take some photos to illustrate it.

Here is a series of photos showing how to assemble the walking mechanism of an AT-ST (my method anyway).

1)
It is easier to have the grey lever in the 'walking' position as you will put less pressure on the button spring when putting the base plate back on, reducing the chances of it all blowing apart.

2)
Squeeze the leg spring between the plastic end pieces & push in place. The pressure of the spring should hold everything in position.

3)
Push the legs back in.

4)
Put the spring in the walking button.

5)
Use even presure to push the base plate back on & hold in position with one hand while fixing the screws in place with the other.

I hope this has been of some help! Very Happy

Thanks everyone for the positve comments! Very Happy

The guide was put together rather hastily, so I'm pleased it has been well received.
