I hope this US collector is not this guy Rolling Eyes (I'm 99% sure he had a similar/same lime green boot Ree Yees)

You hit it! It IS him! This orange color thing is an existing variant or a Joke? Many collectors mention it nowadays. They say it was released on 41-back ESB cards. So this guy is a MF scammer. Deserves painful death. What a Face :grr:
He screwed me with 2 figures. But especially with the "Ledy Weequay". At least the weapon he provided is real.

I buy Nothing from him from now on!!

Lime boots is Fun at least. But faking Ledy Squids and Orange hair Lukes is far worse!

I probably mixed those two guys in my head.....no matter what both have often many questionable auctions and if something like the Ree Yees pops up with theses sellers name...be aware!

the carrot luke was a fake! There is more about this guy....but I cannot find it Sad

I see. Okay. So the real orange hair is much lighter orange. Not carrot color. Very Happy Wink Thx James.

Cool Ree Yees variants, I have always liked the Ree Yees figure but he appears under valued by many!

Yeah, right... Some people like only the Golden Dick variant Darth Vader and the Farmer Luke with Red Toothbrush variants.
I remain at Ree-Yees and Squid Head and do not give a shhh....akka-boom about the super-rare variants for many hundred bucks. I am glad somebody has a positive comment on these Ree-Yees variants. bounce It took me a couple of years to collect them together. Rolling Eyes

Well, that's what makes this hobby so great! It's great that everyone has different interests. I am condidering a Chewbacca focus, again not the most desirable figure but I always liked it as a kid. I would therefore take pride in collecting them.

That's right! And if you like, you can collect bootlegs, fakes, discolored figures, whatever you like!

My top favorites are the 8 bounty hunters (the Big Six and Greedo plus Zutton /Snaggle/). The second favorites are: Ree and Squid, and after them all the other Jabba-minions. Laughing lol!

Good luck with your Chewie-focus! :grr: (this is Chewie grinning or smiling)

I am locking this thread. Not because I think the latest conversation isn't worth it, but because it's unfair to Hutt Hunter to have his limelight hijacked like this. Whether it be for a faded/reprinted figure or not.

I will say this though. I think this conversation needs to continue, just in a different thread. Also, please remember that TIG has been extremely liberal and forgiving on comments and opinions. However, if the blatant disregard for members willingness to help continues, then maybe some timeouts need to be issued.

I'm unlocking this thread after deleting alot of the posts. It's not fair for Hutt Hunter to have his limelight locked.

If there is anything posted here that crosses the line, you are getting an automatic 1 month suspension. No questions asked.

We all collect what we like. End of story.

Atilla - Nice Ree Yees. I have a carded Meccano of this fella and totally dig it!

GM, thank you very much!

I just saw I put my new purchase in a New thread. It was not my intention. But I don't know how to put a new item in the My Newest Vintage Purchase thread. I have to quote somebody else's post, right?...

No, just reply like any other thread. It works the same way. That thread is just a place for everyone to post their recent purchases.
