Hi All,

I just bought 20 small pieces in an ebay listing which were all listed as vintage Star Wars parts. I only recognised 14 of them. I spent an hour on ebay checking through ebay listings for all the vehicles, playsets and figures I could think of to see if I could ID the remaining pieces. I managed to ID four of them, but not these remaing two. (One of the ones I didn't recognise but was able to work out was the silver R2 stand from the Dagobah playset. This wasn't in the set I had, which I had bought as 'complete'! Ah well...)

One of the other pieces I ID'd was from the vintage 9" R2 figure, so these may also be from figures? (but I couldn't find a match on ebay)

Does anyone know what either of these is from? (Assuming that they ARE vintage Star Wars, which of course, it's possible that they're not.)

Jeremy, I don't know what those are!

I'm not sure I've ever seen those before. The brown thing looks like it could be from Dino Riders or whatever they were called. Might be a new game idea? Very Happy

You did well to get the Dagobah part for elevating R2. In my experience they rearely come up, even with 'complete' sets.

As for the two mystery items, I don't recognise them as being from anything from the 3 3/4" range. What size are they?

Could the grey one be from one of the micro collection sets?

Hi Jeremy, the brown part looks like it might belong to the Ewoks battle wagon, or village, or even the catapult or glider?
I don't own any of these items so can't be sure mate.

Wow thanks guys!

I feel a bit better that others are stumped too. This would probably also suggest that they're not Vintage Star Wars (Though it would seem strange that 18 out of 20 pieces were Vintage Star Wars, especially as there were some quite obscure pieces in there.)

I can confirm that the brown piece is definitely not from Ewok Glider, Catapult or Village (had several complete of all of these) Never had a Battle Wagon so don't know there.

The interesting thing about the grey piece is the letter 'A' makes me think there is probably another similar piece in whatever it comes from (Like the two slide arms on the Dagobah playset are labeled 'A' and 'B', The two Mid-engine parts on a snowspeeder are the same...)

Could be from the miniature collection, could be from another series entirely (I'm sure other toy lines must work similarly.)

Hmmm, I shall continue my search. (Just really curious now lol.)

Best Wishes,

-J

HaHa!!!! Awesome! Josh you're a star mate! What's funny as well, is that I actually owned this set as a kid. Embarassed Laughing

One more piece to identify and then I can rest happy. Smile
