| Great to see that legit Palitoy 45CN! And looks very minty! I find it interesting that it has a KayBee sticker on it. I can't make out the price to see whether it is in $ or £ ... are/were there any KayBees in the UK too or did this MOC just find his way over here perhaps with TriLogos near the end? After securing a legit GM 45 back Leia Bespin (had a Toni too), I can only guess that you are as happy or happier than I was to find a 100% legit one. Very cool and congrats!!!!! cheers! |

| Another new edition to the focus that I'm quite excited about. This is a bog standard Kenner 77 back, but it has a vintage poster offer leaflet stapled to it. I have seen this vintage leaflet sold separately but have not seen it stapled to a card before. TG&Y must have stapled these in the shop. Some history of this American retail chain is here:- http://newsok.com/tgy-exhibit-recalls-golden-years-of-oklahoma-based-chain/article/3929842 Jason |

| Maybe? But there could be other senerios like, little johnnys grand parents buy him a figure for Xmas, spot the offer leaflet in the shops and staple it to his present in case he gets another figure in his presents. Little johnny opens his present, takes a dislike to 2-1B and doesn't bother opening it.
Or a scam artist staples them together to make it look different.
Not trying to rubbish your find but it would be impossible to prove the retailer did it unless several examples turned up.

It certainly looks like the poster leaflet was stapled back in the day as the staples look old and weathered. If it was only done in the odd shop or two, there may be no other examples. You can see a promo shelf taker with a bunch of these stapled to it in a tearaway version. I thought about the scam angle, this is a cheap, plentiful, unpopular, carded figure with bubble damage. You'd think you'd pick a better card to try and scam with. I paid 50 bucks for this, so it's no exactly a killer sting. Jason |

| I totally agree not a killer scam using the 2-1B card, just that's everything is not always black & white. |

| Really impressive run, even with the ToyToni disappointments. I love the TG&Y copy with staples, it seems legit. I used to shop in one back in the day, good memories. |

| Been after one of these for a while. It's a Kenner offerless 48 back, but the the offer has been added as a sticker rather than printed on the card:- You can tell because the sticker is at a wonky angle compared to the printed one:- The sticker on the back covers the entire bottom of the card:- cheers Jason |

| An unusual cardback from Australia next with a printed sticker to cover up the nasty Kenner logo:- And here it is close up:- Jason |

| Many thanks to Marco van Dijk for gifting me my latest addition to my 2-1b focus. It's a Mexican/SA bootleg from the 80's. 2-1b looks great with his gold stripes! Check out his funky selection of pink weapons! Here's he is in my cabinet, next to by Meccano square card reseal. Thanks again Marco. I owe you one! Jason |

| Next up is a cardback. This is a Kenner 47 back. I have a MOC of this. However, this one has a palitoy sticker on the back! :-) Jason |

| Another day, another cardback. This looks like a standard Kenner survival kit offer card from the front. But on the back is the Alexnadria P.O. Box address showing it is Australian. Need a MOC of this! Jason |

| Jason, did you make that cabinet or have it made and if so who made it? It is a sharp looking cabinet and the graphics applied to the front are fantastic.
Sorry, nice collection also just got distracted by that cabinet. |
