So I decided to clean up my recently purchased AT-ST and have got as far as chicken leg soup as per below.

As the next picture shows it is in need of further cleaning.

What I want to know is when I undo the screws from underneath are his guts going to fall out all over the place before I get a chance to memorise his anatomy. Is it fairly simple to put back together, does anyone have any previous photos of whats inside?

Yeah it's not that hard to put it together. Was some years back so I don't fully remember how it looks like but I remember it wasn't that hard. Might take some tries though.

Where did you find that? At the bottom of the coffee pot? sick
Good luck with it. You did a great job on the feet if they were anything like the body in color.

When you open it there is a good chance the internal components will go everywhere due to the spring between the legs.

Here is a link to a step by step guide that I did for someone on here once before - https://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t3600-how-to-repair-your-at-st-walker (my pictures are about half way down the page).

Let us know how you get on. Very Happy

I love the fact you are cleaning your Imperial AT-ST in an Imperial sink Laughing

Thanks Cantina Patron, I was unsure what I would encounter once I open it up. Your quick guide makes it look fairly simple to put back together.

Lol, dismatling things has never been an issue for me either, did you use fire to get it back together?

You should find putting it back together pretty straight forward. The first attempt can be a bit like playing Buckaroo - Just as you get the last piece in place everything flies apart & your back to square one. lol!

It will great to see a picture of it restored to it's former glory!

The pilot looks happy to be in such a shiny ride now lol!

Good clean-up job Greg, and for managing to put it all back together again!
