| VERY nice arapaima. I gather that they can be difficult to catch. You must have been buzzing for ages after landing it. Did you go on a dedicated angling holiday? |

| Yep ... dedicated 1 week of the 4 week Thailand trip to fishing.
That old girl took about 45 minutes to land and about 4 days to wipe the smile off my face !!! |

I'd love to do that myself one day. Now the sea is warming up, I'll aim to post some pics of the fish I land over the coming months, but being the UK they won't be as spectacular as yours. |

| Nice fish Jordan. What is the species in the bottom photo? I recently decided to have a go at doing some coarse fishing, so yesterday I visited a small lake. The fish weren't very big, but I did catch around 30 during a four hour session. Perch Rudd Roach |

| The biggest took about and hour and a half to get in, the others only a few minutes (10 max).
The last day I hooked a monster estimated at over 250lb .... but it snapped off 2 and a half hours into the fight. Gutted !!!!
Didn't get the world record fish I was after but gives me something to attempt next trip.
EDIT 11/04/15 ..... turns out I did get a IGFA World Record !! The Salween Rita Catfish beat the current Rod and Reel by about 3kg. Got the email last week STOKED ! |

| Well, summer is winding gown so I figure I would give this a bump to see what other monsters you guys got. Just living vicariously through you guys as I haven't been able to get out to do much fishing in quite some time. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| I know one of those is called airepima not sure if spelled right but that is how he said it. I know because it was on river monsters with Jeremy wade. One of my favorite shows when I can catch it. Care to share on the others names? You have some amazing fishing trips man, I am pretty jealous. _________________________________________________ Bryan
