| I've got a Palitoy Hoth Trooper with similar heat distortion on one side of the bubble. I have always presumed that it came from the factory like it. |

That kind of distortion in the bubble is very, very common - in fact, calling it distortion is possibly being a touch dramatic. In some cases you'll wind up with a raised area, or large sections of the bubble that isn't properly sealed to the card. Remember that these thin plastic bubbles were heat pressed, or stamped onto cards. Some kind of alteration in shape is almost inevitable as part of that process. |

| Believe it or not I had potential buyer for this MOC but I think they through the bubble had been tempered with.

That's a bit nuts on the buyer's part. The ESB 41 At-At driver in particular seems to have this flaw - I've had a few over the years, and I think they all had this to some degree. |
