So after some persistent chasing/dealing this week I am only 2 MOC away from a complete set! One is a Death star commander which I'm not too concerned about, but the other one is of couse one of the most sought after -- original farm boy Luke.

I can see Luke being the very last one I get here, ironically as he was one of the first figures produced. Anyway, I thought I would finish the journey with a bang and fork out for a nice 12 back!

However, going through completed eBay listings as research I'm really surprised at the range of prices paid for it ($US prices follow). AFA listings going for 1000, 1675, 2827 -- an AFA 90 for 12,600!?! Non AFA seems to range between $300-$600.

Just wondering if anyone has a view on why such a massive range of prices for this? It's unlike any other figure I've hunted ...

Also interested to hear what others have paid for this one, on any cardback.

He's a main character and the "Disney" situation hasn't help buyers (sellers are laughing).

As for the AFA90 on ebay, high end graded items are always sort after, an ungraded one or even a AFA80 should be affordable.
