| Some people might say it's a good thing for anything to do with the prequels to get buried in sand not me, I find it a bit sad really, but inevitable as you can't hold back nature. photo: Google Check out the other photos showing the advance... From: Star Wars home of Anakin Skywalker threatened by dune. | Perhaps Indy will excavate it! Seeing that reminds me of a campaign a few years ago to save the second Lars Homestead (the igloo) as it was being rapidly destroyed by the elements. |

| I would love to be able to go to these places and help protect/restore these iconic places. But unfortunitly I can't go off for months at a time but if I ever win the big one then I could finally go and help. |

| I would let it get buried.. In a thousand years or so some archeologist will dig up this site, connect it to the historically Star Wars Movie and voila.. Star Wars is based on actual events since it's backed by evidence |

| I'm all for saving such a set like that, but at the same time can't help but think of how cool it would be buried. First of all, if the sand dune is advancing, surely it's not going to stop once it on top of Mos Espa, eventually it will pass and reveal the city! In the 1800's a clipper ship was ship wrecked on the coast in a storm where I live. On a particularly low tide and only when the sand levels are really low (quite a rare set of necessary events) you can see the old timber from the ships bow sticking out of the sand. I kind of like the idea of, once in a blue moon, and only under the right circumstance, Mos Espa emerges from the sand! |
