| Jason, haven't had a chances t look at the link you posted earlier here, but is the cardback presentation for Anaheim the same as the link? I tried to open it, but it said it was to big and all I have at the moment is the iPad, so I have to wait for my desktop to get fixed. Hoping someone can record the presentation though if it's not the same one. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| It's the same presentation with a few corrections for Lili Ledy and Toltoys New Zealand.
Cheers Jason |

| Looks like there are more China cardbacks out there: POTF! https://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t3574-coo-sticker-on-cardback[QUOTE=Lt__Brenn_Tantor;19608583]236 = The Empire Strikes Back Cardback; XXX = Figure; the next 2 digits represent the cardback: 00 = 45 Back (Arena Display Offer) 01 = 47 Back (4-LOM Offer) 02 = 48 A-Back, 48 B-Back (Admiral Ackbar Offer - Sticker) 03 = 48 C-Back (Admiral Ackbar Offer) 0175 = Return Of The Jedi or Power Of The Force Cardback; XXX = Figure; the next 2 digits represent the cardback: 00 = Revenge Of The Jedi 48 Back (Nien Nunb Offer) 01 = ROTJ 48 Back (Nien Nunb Offer) 02 = 65 A-Back 03 = 65 B-Back, 65 D-Back (Anakin Skywalker Offer - Sticker) 04 = 65 C-Back (The Emperor Offer) 05 = 77 A-Back, 77 B-Back (Anakin Skywalker Offer - Sticker) 06 = 79 A-Back, 79 B-Back (Anakin Skywalker Offer - Sticker) 07 = 79 C-Back (Anakin Skywalker Offer) 08 = POTF 92 Back * After viewing more proof from TESB, the first 3 digits didn't change, following 3 digits for figure and 2 digits for cardbacks. | Guys, I am thinking I want a few more cardbacks or even carded depending on how much these are worth. I only recently discovered that the trilogo paploo and lumat were released on cardbacks with wicket's picture but their own names. I found this article: http://trilogo.info/features/ewok-warriors/ But it is from a while back. How rare are these cardbacks now? The article says the paploo is rarer, is that still the case? How many of these are known to be in collections. What would these go for in today's market? Any help is appreciated. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| I know this guy that has a soft spot for Ewoks & cardbacks I can not recall more than a handful change hands ( MOC or cardback ) in the last few years. No idea how to put a value on them. |

| Hey, you forgot to send this set to me AJ. Dang it. Ok real question. I just got my first Ledy and one of the few I want but I may have a larger list than I thought. I got a regreso wicket positive 50 back. Do any others exist like a returno or negative back or other number of figures on the back? Basically which cards are known to exist for wicket? _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Retorno is only an option for 14 back and earlier, Wicket first appears on the 50 back so there maybe a negative back. There is some punch variations that seem to correlate to the 'assortment' number front top left- 4 digit starting with 3 or 5 digit starting with 5 and some cardstock 'variations' but that's as far as I've looked into it. |

| Rarest, hardest, most expensive are not always interchangeable words. The 'big three' for me were Fett, Jawa & C3PO original. |

| Also added some 41D/E which together with my childhood ones just leaves me DSD, Leia, Luke Bespin, Snag, R5 & Gonk away from the complete run. The DSD, Gonk & R5 are 20B |

| On my phone so hard to try to flip the pics. If i remember next time I log in on a desktop i will try to flip those two so they aren't sideways. All these just taken same time and place so don't understand why three are right and two flipped. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Cardbacks came up in one of the FB groups I'm in which prompted me to find the pic of my cardbacks that i took after i found them last year. Specifically (in this FB discussion) there was debate over the value of the Yak Face cardback, and so i wanted to take another look at the condition mine was in. (NFS, at this point, but i am curious as to what this would go for these days if anyone knows?) So anyway, I found this thread here now as I was generally looking around on the matter and figured i'd share my little collection of childhood era cardbacks here too. As you can see by the time POTF figures came around i was a lot more careful with how i took the figures out... The ones with bubble remains, i think i used to have the full bubbles on them still, but sometime in the early 1990s i think cut them off for ease of storage reasons in the face of my mum or someone nagging me to throw the whole lot out. Glad i didnt chuck em. ;-) the backs of the toltoys ones: Most of my cardbacks do have circles or underlines on the backs of them, the main reason i kept them as a young kid was to keep track of my collection |

| A check of eBay shows a trilogo one sold for $164 usd recently. The potf would be with more than a trilogo. How much more? I have no idea. Didnt find a recent sale on eBay (which would reveal open market price) and don't recall seeing one on the forums in quite some time. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| David showed a picture of the Anakin & Yak cardback duo that sold for $US350 recently This sold at Auction in an Aussie facebook group for $A400 to a US buyer (May this year) One with a completely torn bubble area listed for $US250 in April I know Paul says he sold his for $A550 ( torn / no colour bubble area) Like you, some of my childhood cardbacks were used as a tracking device as well Well advertised I could see your Yak selling at auction for $A500 IF two bidders went for it. |

| That is crazy money... but I paid £160 for a Meccano Luc card back, so what do I know. AJ I saw you post above, do you need this version of gonkertroid? It is a 20 back, but it is no Kenner, it's Palitoy? This came as part of a number of Cardbacks below, that I had as a trade in school back in 96/97 – I can’t remember exactly what was swapped, but it definitely included a mint Boba with original gun a MISB Desert skiff and some other bits. In return I got these cards, his spare Boxed X-wing and an A-wing pilot. I got way more in the deal as he promised me his Bro’s Yak for the mint Boba, but unfortunately his big brother wouldn’t let me have it as he knew it was rare. (Folks: Palitoy Boba Fett 41back is reserved) |
