Takara Missile-firing Diecast R2-D2
I'm not sure if the packaging is complete. There's no back to the box, it's just the polystyrene tray and a front face window box. I haven't found pictures that provide a definitive answer. Anyway, this is the more common packing for this version of the missle-firing R2 (There's another one entirely that has red missiles and also projects movie slides). The rarer version is a solid black box, much like the diecast Takara Vader and Threepio.

I think that is how it was originally packaged with just tape securing the styrofoam inside the box.
