PostSubject: luke X Wing Question   luke X Wing Question I_icon_minitimeThu Nov 07, 2013 4:00 pm

I have two Luke X wing figures, both have Hong Kong Coo's. Looking at Wbobafett's guide they are Coo's I. 1a and 1b.

One has thinner legs, thick black belt, thick red helmet line & bolder eyes.

I suppose I'm wondering why are they so different if they are both common Kenner Luke X Wing figures? Is one earlier than the other or found on a certain cardback?

It's probably worth checking the COO's again, it sounds to me like your desribing the two different sculpts from the two different COO mold families. It's easy to mistake the two COO's as they are similar, the print on COO I is slightly larger than COO II
An easy way to check the two sculpts is to look at the back pattern on his white top, COO I is a more simple design than COO II with a very noticable difference on the top line, as shown below:

Sorry James. Was just being lazy. Slim legs, black belt, always on left and in individual pictures.

Neither figure is in particularly good condition, but much to learn I have.

Thanks for the help chaps. Using the COO site and on very close inspection I appear to have a Luke X Wing I 1b and a II 1d.

I feel your site will come in very useful Mr Fett. Especially when i decide which figure to focus on.

Thanks
