| Hi guys and gals. I've got a strange Darth Vader that I could use some help identifying. Perhaps someone wiser than I can shed some light on the possible origins of this figure. Here is a link to the pictures: http://julianusmaximus.wix.com/pillow-of-the-gods#!darth-vader-small-head-sculpt/c1vov |

| Hi, that's certainly an interesting Vader, I like the extra long flared helmet. The head looks from the side profile to be squashed flat and the two parts of the mould are misalligned. The head also appears to be smaller compared to the regular Kenner Vader. I would say this was a short shot, perhaps due to unusual cooling when lifted from the mould? |

| Do you have a picture of the COO stamp, establishing the family is usually the best place to start. |

| This is just a shot in the dark, but could it be from the POTF2 Classic 4-pack? I know the figures in the set were slightly smaller than the originals, but I don't have mine handy to check the other details. If so, it would have a 199x(?) date on the leg. |

I was thinking the same Jesse - I had just got out my POTF2 release and compaired it to a original Vader - the head on the POTF2 is smaller for sure and has that flaired look too - I'll post pics in a little bit if no one beats me to it

| Yup, the saber is a Revalveit mushroom tip. The figure came with a very badly damaged saber so I gave him a custom one that wouldn't be misconstrued as a vintage saber (plus I think they're pretty cool). I don't have a picture of the coo handy but will take some and post them soon. My collection is in Canada and I'll be there in February. I don't recall it having a date stamp that is modern (which I would have noticed) but it does look a quite bit like the potf2 Vader. The odd thing is that it has the same scale body sculpt as my standard Kenner one. I guess we'll see... Thanks to all for the fast responses. This is my first post and I was very happy to see the replies. Oh... and by the way, how did you manage to get the pictures onto the post? I couldn't figure out how... |

| Bill, you need to hang around more often and check out some of the great threads around here, they are usually packed with these kinds of pictures. Just watch out for the occasional pics of General Khan (Alex's) derriere. You may have to bleach your eyes after seeing that. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Hi guys. You may remember the question I posted about this weird Vader I have back in November. I'm in Canada on visit (and have the figure in hand now) so I took some pictures of the COO. Well it's not the re-issue Vader as thought. It turns out it's a raised bar no coo. I humbly ask the Vader experts for their opinion about the figure. Here are pics: Figure in question is on right- Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys - Julian |

Did you pack your long under ware & a shovel for this visit, because you definitely need them right now. What part of hell are you visiting???? ps I'm not sure if I have a raised bar no coo vader, I will have to dig them out of storage. So I'm not going to be any help at the moment. |

Got lucky, the weather in Vancouver is pretty mild right now... I do have my "polar fleece" and my longjohns though, LOL, standard issue Canadian travel cloths, hehe. |
