Was rather annoyed tonight, went to IKEA and bought a detolf. Nothing wrong with it, set it up. Drew the cables for the led. Glued the leds into place and turned them on... yellow! it looks like crap to be honest. They where in the bin under the same leds as I have in the other detolfs...
But at least one little funny thing happened. I went to toys r us to check for black series. I heard they will come there. No black series, but I did find a vc ahsoka on sale out. I just bought it, figured what the hell, I got a bunch of other ahsokas might as well have this one as well. Think vc only had one ahsoka. Saw now that they sell for 30usd on ebay.

I love getting a sealed case of figures. I don't collect the CW figures, but if there is anything you're having difficulties getting, shoot me a PM. If I can't find it at retail, I have a friend with a shop that may be able to help.

I picked up the Vintage Collection Ewok catapult last night. Per request of Dr Dengar, here are some pics.
It's actually a pretty neat little rig. They made the whole unit out of a more flexible plastic, so once you push the hook into the base, all you do is wind the string. The post with the stone on it bends back, and you just let it go.
The stones are made of rubber, and sort of feel a little like novelty erasers, but work well. And of course we get two more Ewoks! Who came up with the names Stemzee and Chubbray is beyond me, but I just call them Ewok 1 and Ewok 2.
The package is just awesome!

My new additions. Only Darth Maul, not getting into the others. The Black Series 6" Darth Maul one of my fav modern figures so far. Articulation on this figure is really good for a large figure. If you have or see any Darth Maul 6" in your local stores from around the world, that looks different to these, and is not listed, different date stamps etc, i would be interested in adding to the run. Will be happy to compensate for your time. I love the small packaging differences. Kinda like modern variant collecting.
Canada- 31591 Date stamp.
Malaysia- 31681 Date stamp.
US- 31791 Date stamp.
UK- 31851 Date stamp.
Euro- 31861 Date stamp.
Japan- 31901 Date stamp.
Hope you enjoy the run. Oscar.

Just wondering, how does R2 react upon saying "Midi-chlorians"' or "Jar Jar Binks"?
The same as the rest of us

I am not sure where to post this so I thought this thread would work.
I have wanted a Stormtrooper helmet since I was a kid and I have to say, at least once a year, every year since then, I re-visit the idea of picking one up.
Well, this year I decided to take the plunge and picked up this EFX Stormtrooper helmet.
If I plan on ever wearing it, it will need to have some additional foam added inside to fit my head better. I will also be swapping the lenses out for smoke colored ones rather than the stock green... or perhaps add the smoke lenses to darken down the green.... not sure yet.
But man, this thing is awesome!!! Once we de-Christmans-ify the house, I will have to plop it onto my Illusive Concepts Yoda!
Anyway... just one pic.
Sooooo very cool!
cheers!

Oh I just love that helmet I picked one up earlier this year it is so cool. BTW I never though about switching out the lenses I will have to see how hard that would be or do they just pop out I haven't checked to see.
