OK... well, this is the last of the bits at my fathers place.

Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13225454404_78939b96eb_c

It was dirty, missing stickers, the restraints and the battery contacts were corroded but I cleaned it up and got the electronics working again and then printed out and applied replacement stickers on it to make it look a bit cooler.

I do remember playing a ton with this as a kid. It was one of my favorite things to roll around the driveway. Smile

Thanks to James for providing the two restraints in the picture which were unfortunately long gone. Thanks, James! Smile

It has been so cool getting these pieces back and at first I hated the 'one piece per visit' deal but after a bit, I honestly loved it and was thankful for him doing it this way. It has been great remembering my childhood and more specifically my grandparents (it was their house before my pops moved in when they passed). Great, fun memories from a long, long time ago.

cheers!
Very Happy

there is also the french notice, and stickers, but don't know where those stickers goes?

Great additions everyone, I particularly like the Meccano Death Star. I think it's likely a previous owner put the sheet of TIE Fighter wing stickers in the box by mistake.

Very nice restoration on the transporter Jay, it looks very minty bud  Smile

Wow Nicholas, that Meccano Death star is a thing of beauty my friend  jawdrop
and you have the box and instruction sheet as well!!! whack

congratulations mate, I hope you've got the room to display it.
My Palitoy version is sadly packed away cos I just dont have the room in my display cupboard Sad
Aside from perhaps trying to flatten the box out, under some books, I would leave the box as it is mate

cheers

A very awesome package arrived by way of the General today containing some goodies he was holding on for me for close to two months I think.

Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13268443844_b7e6bcaf46_z

Got my Speeder Bike from Section 8! Awesome! Smile
And Andy threw in a cool E-3PO custom! Very nice!!!!

And Alex is feeding my MASK addiction here with that Floyd Mallow and Buckshot mask!  alien

OK... so here's the Leia Bespin bits......

Two COO#1s Pretty Faced Turtle Necks with the most red tones I have found on this variant loose aside from POCHs and my 41D Kenner MOC. I was very happy to have a red hair toned loose one added.
Here they are (beat up yeah, but mine!) Smile

#1 had a rough go at the factory in the hair paint department with touchups and over and under sprays
Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272428554_bd7b630e68Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272247403_3687cf19a3

#2 is a bit of a short shot or had some excess shrinkage in the face - most noticeable from the side profile where her nose and chin do not protrude out normally (I have a similar one of COO#2)
Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272438034_8d4437afdbYour Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272108365_3a09db077b

Next up is a NON TOY TONI GM 45 Back (no English text version) with COO#1 Turtle Neck with a Black/Blue V3 blaster! I can't confirm the cape version however Sad
This is the proof that I have been looking for as to the origin of this variant and explains why nearly all of this variant's sellers originate in Germany. Very Happy
Awesome for my research and man, I am relieved I was right.
Yes, the bubble is yellow and has a few cracks and tape but I don't know if she could have escaped but based on the figure inside, I'm very confident. Smile
Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272268763_0a887293cfYour Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272279093_8ec50248f6Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272125905_e7c0357a99_n

And a side by side of the TT and legit one - the bubble edges are different (much more rounded on the legit one) and is shorter.
Your Latest Vintage Purchases Volume 10 - Page 4 13272241623_998f4fefd4_c

Next up is this lovely Blonde lady sporting her V2B (my guide) cape showing the Shroud of Bespin outline of her as it discolored over time Wink

OH - SHE'S NOT LILI LEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!   Suspect  tongue

She is the Palitoy variant! :)I first spotted her in BruceW's MOC collection mounted on a Palitoy 30B and have been looking for her ever since!
She is identical to the Lili Ledy in every way as predicted. She is in fantastic shape - far greater than my Ledy.

And also in the haul, I got this nice Palitoy 30A. This is an upgrade where my old one had no name plate.

And here for kicks are my two Blonde ladies... Palitoy on the left:

I know a lot this time, but I love this little hauls I get from Alex!!!! I track their progress eagerly!
A HUGE thank you to Alex again for helping secure these for me!!!

So that's that. So very happy right now!!!

Cheers!
Very Happy

The Palitoy Blonde is a gem, and not bad at all for £16  :cool laugh:

By the way, the E-3PO is from Andy (Section 8 ) as well, not me.

Hope Alex isn't stealing the credit for my E-3PO.  lol!

I've always liked the alternative decals on this version, and the decals are in really good shape here  Smile
After dismantling the vehicle to adjust the wings, I noticed that the motor powers the sound only, unlike the Kenner "sound and light" versions. There is no wiring for the light here. In fact, the red nose light is just a "dummy" light that slots in and out of the nose cone.
