I've checked some cardbacks on the web and couldn't find a macao cardback with ME!

The macao cardbacks I found never had a factory code at all.

But (and I'm sorry for complicating) I found some ISP-6 made in Macao which have the factory code MC printed on the box!!!

I dont think so. It seems that all "Made in Taiwan" factory codes start with a "T", all HK with an "H" and all Macau with a "M"....though to me its clera that the first letter indictaes the "country/location".

...and HG for Kader is confirmed as well as HT for Unitoys! Check the RS links with the pictured shipping boxes.

Herald maybe big, but its one of thousands of plastic prodcuing toy companies in HK alone!!

...I am loosing it a bit to be honest!

Only three "HK" codes but assumed factories are 5 or more:

Kader, Smile, Unitoys, Qualidux and Jetta.

On the other hand QC samples show that Smile and Qualidux are specified as "Macau" whereas they are located in HK and Ch!!! WTH???

And why can't be ANYTHING found on the Taiwan factories???

I have seen an S in pictures for a 45 back Leia, but I don't own one to confirm - my loose card back has the pop cut so that doesn't help.

So, U,K,HN & HG confirmed here.

At least if people know the factory codes can be found else where on some cardbacks, with examples where the pop has been removed it may still be possible to assign them to a specific factory.   

I'll check my moc's & loose cardbacks for the other codes.

If anyone has a 45A, check that back as the ones I am finding out there have the 'S' code.

Ugnaught Palitoy 41 back with 'K'

It may be best to focus on one cardback 'group' at a time. ie. 41B&C  ,  41D&E etc.

As you know I focused on the Luke Jedi

What I can tell you on that is both HN and HT Lukes were phased out at 77 backs whilst the TJ went on to produce 79 and POTF

What happened to HT did their Luke Jedi moulds get sent to Lili ledy?

What happened to HN I saw some where that some believed it was sent yo Macau
But I have no proof.

TJ however definately took over the production of all Luke Jedis even baggies in latter 3 packs and 8 packs where the catalogue inside advertised 79 figures

My China cards are HG.

Prior to 41 backs the lack of factory codes IMO does NOT mean there was not more than one factory.  I was looking at some debut 31 backs.  Han Hoth stood out ( it's easy to tell the mould family even when MOC ) There are 2 types of punches- again perforated vs smooth.  Moulded leg Han ( 6 sided belt buckle, smooth punch ), perforated punch has 'small thumb' Han.
